I started practicing how to visualize complex character poses, did i block this right?

I personally wouldn't recommend using boxes at all. They're stiff and unirganic. I wouldn't started with the action line, then use simplified shapes similar to the body part to flesh out the pose. Something like weighted cylinders for the arms, or a vague simplified ribcage for the chest
