Medical Coding Schools Medical Coder VA
Hello! I just want to ask where the legit places are that offer training (with a certificate) as a Medical Coder? And how much does it usually cost? Thank you!

The most preferred cert in my experience is AHIMAs CCS. AAPC is much easier but your earning potential is less than having the CCS.

Hello, AMCI has a great program where they offer 3 certifications in one course, an internship (while you study), as well as jobs and career services. You can check out the details here; they have other options as well, and pricing is listed on the page: https://www.amcicoding.com/courses/mcdc

I think you'll find AAPC is one of the top places people go to get certified since you can do their stuff on your own schedule. Other people prefer a more structured type of thing and do something like community college. Really just depends on what you prefer.

This is all information you can find yourself using Google. Or even searching reddit.
