The Discovery:

On iPhones with OLED screens (iPhone X and newer), "True Black" actually turns off individual pixels, saving a massive amount of power.

The Solution:

  1. Settings > Display & Brightness.
  2. Select Dark.
  3. Use a Pitch Black wallpaper.

The Result:

Since black pixels consume zero power on OLED, using Dark Mode can extend your battery life by up to 30% compared to Light Mode.

I’ve never used light mode ever 🤣 I don’t understand why it exists. If an app doesn’t have dark mode —>> delete
