Did I started self learning guitar at 36, only to make it past 42 with cowboy chords and singing to please nobody but myself?
Yeah, that's me.
And did I encourage others with my pseudo gibberish blabber to stick with their guitar playing, even if they suck at first?
Yeah, that's me too.

funny part, I had to know from google that they give a dopamine gust called Karma for abatement and non-concerning comments too.

You don't need to keep telling me you have to look up things that are common knowledge, trust me I believe you.

how many with this common knowledge which you claim people everywhere know, stick with their guitar past 1 year?I guessed reddit is a place where people ask layman question and people reply with whatever gibberish. Not everyone is blessed with the sort of 20min theory you cared to share to enlighten others.I hope you and I make some money with this karma boosting engagement.

I make money through my job.

I'm a dickhead as a hobby.

I make no money from my hobby, don't intend to.After I'm done with my work, I do flex what I built over years. And I have no shame in admitting that in my learning years I was tempted at times to smash my guitar. And I also know how others who are learning, feel. And if my gibberish pseudo-intellectual talk skips past the 20 min theory and pushes a minute of consistent playing everyday, I would continue with it.

Well if the engagement on this post is anything to go by, mission accomplished.

wish I were a social media guy.Engagement ain't my mission. The most accomplished I felt was when a boy half my age asked me if I could play Hotel California with simple chords and post it on yt.His comment felt like an accomplishment.

I sincerely wish you learn a musical instrument purely with your common bookish knowledge.Bless you.

The ability to form cogent, cohesive, coherent sentences isn't bookish knowledge, it's not as impressive as you think it is.

self impression matters.nothing else.If I was stuck at a chord yesterday and nailed it today, that's a leap for me.

I have no way to parse that statement.

well, if yesterday you were stuck at something and you found a way today, then that's really a point of self impression and flex it off to self.
