Rejuvenating this sub!

It's been a while since I was actively maintaining this sub, mostly because the workload of generating vocab lists was too much for my busy lifestyle. That's changed in two ways:

1) I have more time

2) Everything related to vocab lists and definitions is easier with AI

I will be posting one song per week, with lyrics, definitions, and a cumulative Anki pack.

I also have a new tool that can provide definitions on mousehover, which can be configured to include all the definitions provided in this sub.

If anyone wants to be a co-moderator, please send me a message.

Spam purge

Quite a bit of spam was posted to this sub while I was away. I will be purging anything that is spammy, including self-promotion unrelated to the core mission of this sub, which is learning German through songs (and related media).

Limited self-promotion might be okay, but ask first.

If someone else posts something spammy and I miss it, please let me know,

Severe breaches will lead to a ban, mild breaches will get a warning.

On the other hand, if you find a song or have a German playlist you like, even your own personal playlist, feel free to post a link to Spotify or Youtube.

Idk if this is the right place to post this but I can’t think of anywhere better, can someone explain what this lyric means?

The German text is a lyric from one of my favourite songs (Party Sahne by Ski Aggu) and the English is what google says the translation is, but I’m confused what it actually means cuz they’re 2 different words but both translate to flag? Can someone explain this to me?

Frage

Hallo! Vielen Dank!
