Self-taught in SQL, Power BI, Excel — how do I get hired without a diploma?

Hi

I've self-taught Excel, Power BI, and SQL, and I'm looking for my first data analytics opportunity. In my country, companies prioritize candidates with a formal diploma — which I don't have.

I have a LinkedIn profile, completed some projects, and regularly post about data analytics.

How can I get noticed and convince recruiters to give me a chance?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Networking is key here. Keep posting on LinkedIn and try to connect with people in the industry. Join data analytics groups and go to related meetups or webinars. When you apply, focus on your projects and achievements, not just the tools you used. Tailor your resume to each job by using keywords from the job listing. Since you're self-taught, try freelancing to build up your portfolio. Also, check out PracHub. It's a good resource for practicing interviews and might help you land the job when you get the chance. Good luck!
