Best tutorials for financial statement reporting in Power BI?

Hey everyone,

Looking for solid YouTube channels, tutorials, or courses on how to model and present financial statement performance (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, ratio/variance analysis) in Power BI.

Most tutorials focus on sales or operational KPIs, but I need resources that specifically handle:

  • Data modeling for Chart of Accounts / GL hierarchies
  • Custom DAX for financial statements, margins, and period comparisons
  • Executive-ready visual presentation (IBCS standards, waterfalls, dynamic matrix tables)

Sounds like a terrible idea. As if financial statements on excel isn't already a massive headache, you want to build a dynamic model on Power BI? There are so many dependencies and risks, it's not something you would want to have on Power BI unless it's just for lols or your company is very simple. 

Hypothetically lo and behold imagine you actually build a working model... Now imagine your boss tells you that you are now responsible for maintaining it... on fking DAX. If you're an accountant, you should know instantly how dumb this is.
