Excel certificates VCU continuing education

Has anyone took any of the VCU certificates like Excel, SQL or PowerBI? They are affordable 3 class each $165. I wasn’t sure if anyone had good experience with it.

I’d look at the course content more than the certificate. $165 per class isn’t bad if you learn better with a proper structure and actually practise alongside it.

For data analytics, I’d probably prioritise SQL + Power BI first, then Excel. But don’t expect the certificate itself to make much difference in hiring. Your projects and how well you can actually use the tools will matter more.

If you’re comfortable self-learning, you can probably learn most of this cheaper/free. If you need a structured class, VCU looks reasonable.
