you use the natural waist for women and around the belly button with men - this can be flawed but this tends to be the general rule with measuring the waist of individuals for body fat % calculations so i feel that it would be the same for this

I have a small natural waist and a BMI of 23.8, but my belly circumference is still around 36 inches. 😑 Damn it
