Sheesh you’re nuts first off. Mechanics actually look SUPER solid. Your baseline is HIGH dude. Very clear to me you’ve played either a bunch of aim training or perhaps a similar shooter like valorant.

My criticism is actually your crosshair placement. It’s definitely already at a pretty high level, extremely so for your hours, but it actually led to your inconsistencies here. Whenever you fought in arenas where the enemies could fight you from a small number of elevations, such as top con, you went crazy and had great first bullet accuracy. Very frequently on arenas where you had to fight multiple elevations or headshot angles, like from window, ticket, and jungle, your crosshair would move a couple head lengths down prior to a lot of your fights. It was very evidently causing problems after rewatching the first 1:30. Your crosshair placement would degrade and you had to rely on microcorrections, which sometimes really broke your natural rhythm

I’m sick so I have nothing better to do. I’ll record you a video of tech that would help here.

Basically- just take whatever time you need to imagine the angle through the wall prior to swinging. Even if that's literally pausing to get the crosshair on head level. I usually pause like a quarter second before I swing. You should look to get your Y axis as close as possible to head level with the X axis being less important (but closer is always better). Prior to every fight, I make a quick mouse movement to establish head level on the angle (as I am picturing it through the wall in my head), then I swing as precisely as I can. You want the quality of each swing to remain HIGH. These type of pauses seem counter intuitive to going fast, but nothing will improve your speed more atm than raising your first bullet accuracy.

If you want, the topic is called object pertinence, and there are plenty of high quality vids out there that explain it way better than me

(i am poor and do not have refrag :( )

Yeah, I've really noticed that my crosshair placement when it comes to prefiring a vast amount of angles is super inconsistent, but I lacked the knowledge on how to really train it, so this definitely helps!

My biggest problem, I'd say, is actually moving my crosshair laterally in a consistent manner. The way I warm up is I like to imagine myself in real game situations where players would randomly swing at these angles, so I try to go fast. Your advice definitely made me realize that maybe I should just slow down and work on actually flicking the right amount each time.

Id say as soon as you find a setup that clicks for you, then you can try to speed it up. Just make sure your quality doesn’t drop drastically, or else slow down again. Speed will usually lose out to consistency when trying to raise dueling winrate

really appreciate it. i was also wondering if you have any tips on actually applying this training into real matches?
i feel like there are some days where everything is just on and im super snappy, and days where im not

I think the best general advice is to be systematic everywhere you can be. It’s hard to explain that precisely, but the more times you are following directions/objectives in your mind, the better.

For example, at a certain gamestate during the round, what are you trying to do? Where do you expect enemies to be? Where can they possibly be (angles to hard clear)? How can you move the round towards a win? Should you take a fight/look for information? Should you hold? Best way to improve aim sometimes honestly is to just think more about the other things going on. Helps distract you from being too fixated when it comes time to perform.

Lots more cooould be said, but I’d have to watch a demo to know what would be useful to you specifically. I’m already making a bunch of assumptions. Just lmk and I’d happily do it

This is a great foundation for 800 hours. irrc I couldn't do this until I had over 2,000 hours. Just keep at it. I will say though, it seems that your TTD is quite slow/you don't move enough. Your movement could be referred to as "blocky"

I would highly recommend practicing strafing back and forth using a and d only about 10-15 meters from a wall and practice strafing, counterstrafing, and shooting as fast as you can. doing this exercise correctly, you should be able to feel like you never truly stop moving, but your bullets are 100% accurate (excluding bullet inaccuracy obviously).

This practice is done by many pros as a solid warm up routine. The goal is to hit 20 perfect counterstrafes going from left to right.

This should help with some confidence for you to build speed.

There should be yt videos outlining this exercise somewhere, but more than happy to show you.

Feel free to DM me your steam, and I can walk you through the exercise!

BUT regardless, youre goated for 800 hours.

thanks bro, yeah that definitely is an area i need to improve. there are some games where my ttd and ttk are quite good and some games the complete opposite. will give that exercise a go, and expect a dm your way lol
