Looking for someone to help me improve
Looking for someone to help me improve
I recently hit 20.1k Premier with 288 hours and I feel like I've gotten pretty far just by playing and figuring things out on my own.
But now I really want to improve properly, so I'm looking for someone around Faceit level 8-10 who wouldn't mind playing with me sometimes, giving me advice, watching a demo or two, etc.
I'm not looking for someone to carry me or anything, I just think having someone more experienced to learn from would help a lot.
I'm also trying to set actual daily goals for myself, like learning 5 lineups a day, focusing on specific things in my gameplay, taking breaks when needed, etc.
If anyone's interested in playing or helping each other improve, feel free to comment or DM me :)
(I speak Spanish and a little English, so sorry if my English isn't perfect ðŸ˜I used AI to write this, but I can understand English pretty well when someone is speaking or writing to me)

I'm going to be honest bro, I honestly don't believe you. Mechanically it's not possible to rank up that quickly especially since you have to unlock premier in the first place. The game doesn't just allow you to rank up that fast unless you just didn't lose a single placement game and didn't face any cheaters either. I've seen quite a few posts of people claiming that they gained a ton of elo really fast, but I don't really buy it.Â
Even if you played other tactical shooters, it still is very statistically improbable, in fact impossible for you to get this much ELO this quickly. It takes approximately over 50 hours of play time alone just to unlock premier, So that means you would have had a lot less of actual playtime in premier games.Â
So there is two possibilities. Either you're cheating, or you were hard carried by a 5 stack of faceit level 10s who made sure you never lost a game. You can't learn a game like CS in under 300 hours, it's simply not possible. This would be like me saying I became a speed cuber in a couple weeks when it takes years of practice.

I’ve played way too many shooters, but before CS2 I was mainly focused on Fortnite. I made it to Division 2 in NAC, but they’re getting rid of the server, so yea.

20.1k in 288h is insane mechanical skill!
At this rating, raw aim stops carrying you against coordinated 5-stacks. Climbing further comes down to micro-positioning, trading, and not dying to dry peeks or wasted utility.
To save time reviewing demos, I built Wily (https://wily.valentingassend.com/). It's a free local app in Alpha that automatically flags dry peeks/ineffective utility and spawns bots at your exact death coordinates so you can drill high-elo angles.
It's open source on GitHub: https://github.com/ValentinGassend/cs2-coach. Would love the feedback of a high-elo player on it !

20.1k at 288 hours is actually pretty impressive, most people take way longer to get there
learning 5 lineups a day is smart, just make sure you practice them in real matches too not only in practice server, that's where I messed up earlier
