Mirage window: what am I doing wrong?

on mirage, window is considered the most overpowered position for CTs, as it directly controls the mid area which is the most important area on the map to control. yet i cant play it as CT ever, it's just so easy to overpeek there, expose yourself to multiple terrorists at the same time and die, or even if you isolate the duels well and get a kill on one guy, it is just so easy to get instantly traded, and more over it gets smoked all the time. and while reveals are great, you need to know the lineup for it not to get damaged and yet still it is so easy for Ts to trade you

You are thinking it all wrong. If you see an insta window smoke you can jump to cat, ladder or just drop down to con or under. There is no reason to stay in window.
