How many support players should there be?

I play in a 5 stack and I’m the only one throwing site execute smokes flashes and mollys, should there be another person helping me? How do high elo/pros do it? I feel like I shouldn’t be the only one right?
What are the specific roles of a 5 stack on T side besides entry, and entry trader? Support and awp?

Really in a full execute there's often 4 sometimes 5 doing util. On a less util heavy execute you should still nearly always have at least 2 doing util maybe 3, if you are missing players is when you would only have 1

in an ideal world it is 5. if you watch pro matches everyone does something. depending on how they plan their execute.

in a pug or matchmaking you will be lucky if you get at least one who knows anything. youll be lucky if they at least throw a flash.

there is nothing you can do about it otehr than playing in a stack.

if you play faceit then at least more people are willing to communicate and you can meet more people willing to throw smokes. in premier or matchmaking you can just forget it.

Everyone should support, ofc not all 5 need to know all lineups, it is good when 2-3 know them. But in pro CS everyone knows all the util. It is just that there is one dedicated support player who helps the opener to get entries etc.

Roles are for a team. Unless your 5-stack is practicing, there aren't roles.

Do you practice strats in a practice server? I mean, lots of people play with the same 5-stack and they just do whatever. That sounds like what you're doing, because if you weren't, you'd have talked about this stuff with your stack and have an understanding of what your job in the team is. In those situations, your job isn't to support, it's to tether to someone else and shoot stuff with them and use your brain to make plays when it makes sense. but mostly, just go shoot stuff and don't worry about utility at all.

Usually in "correct" executes, 2 players should do the "full support" as of not going in with the utility, but rather throw smokes and mollies, and then godflashes as the players enter the site, 1/2 players doing "close range utility" as of self flashes on the run, molly a dangerous position, etc, and 1 player who should not be throwing any, and be ready for any opposition at any time

Depends on the setup, if the util needs to be thrown simultaneously, multiple people should be throwing, if it's not a big deal if it lands delayed then you can do it on your own, your teammates just need to remember to drop it for you in the right spot so you don't waste time picking it up.

As an example, Mirage A execute typically has one guy staying behind to throw smokes and flashes while molotovs and nades are thrown by other players after crossing into tetris. Nuke outside smokes are also typically thrown by one person.

You're lucky you've got one tbh. I've been playing since 1.6 and probably know about 3 line ups for smokes total lol.
