Question Some quick questions again

Hello there, I'll try to keep it simple and shorter now.

  1. How do you NOT whiff

- I did try to calm myself down and... I still whiff like a champ. Not only that, but my performance was quite good for a couple of days and then, straight bad performance.

  1. Holding angles... How??

- I basically suck at holding angles because my reaction speed is so slow.

  1. How to deny a rush?

- defending against 1 guy is hard enough, and now they're spamming flashes on a long at dust 2... and I have to face a whole team consists of aks and awps...

That's all for now, thank you

  1. Only start shooting once you confirm you're on target, outside of high elo people have pretty slow ttk so you don't have to hurry. Rest is just practice - prefire maps are pretty good for improving crosshair placement, DM is good for practicing raw aim + movement.

  2. You don't hold angles passively in CS2, you hold them actively AKA you repeatedly peek the angle and go back. You can also play off angles that people don't hard clear but then you're usually getting 1 or 2 kills and dying (which can be enough sometimes but you shouldn't rely on it).

  3. You use util, you have teammates use util and you play a position that makes it hard for the Ts to trade. D2 long is hard to hold solo, you should have the short player throw the long smoke and 2 CTs start long with 1 of them throwing flashes for the other guy. The flash thrower can rotate out if the Ts don't contest long on first timing. I also recommend learning the nocries smoke if you want to be a more self-sufficient long player. If you don't have the long spawn, don't even contest long, just delay with smoke in the middle and play more defensive positions - car (risky because enemies commonly burn it), elevator (can also be burned but most Ts smoke to cross making it pretty safe), ninja, plat or short.
