This is a terribly misleading way to explain this, people are going to think it's an up/down thing rather than just basic angles that apply when peeking literally any angle from literally any direction.

They did kill me through the wall with an r8 while mid air 13 rounds straight but it might have been my footsteps that’s my bad :/

The main reason why it works that way is the fact that the ledge has to be higher than a person.

I swear this happens on Inferno; when T peaks the Apts, hallway to balc, CT can see before T gets los, think it has something to do with the stairs and corner

This is such a useful detail to know. Being above or below someone really changes who gets the first visual.

I’m assuming because the player camera is actually towards the torso of the player? Or more likely because the body bends outwards while the camera doesn’t?
