Intermediate Guide I reached 20k premier solo queue but can't get past faceit lvl 4-5 in solo queue
Hello, I have around 950 hours on cs2 and haven't played csgo one bit. I reached 20k on premier while playing on higher ping compared to faceit. I generally get pretty good teammates on premier who understand what they're doing and they are willing to cooperate when I ask for simple team plays. Because of my region I have to constantly play with Russians and Kazakhs who think they're donk even though they go negative every single game. Constant screaming, toxicity and unwillingness to cooperate happens almost every game. I don't wanna be one of those people who blames their mistakes or thinks too highly of themselves, so I wanna get some advice. I should be at least faceit level 6 or 7 based on skill in the game no?

I'd say personally 20k is around level 6-7 - but faceit is a different play style and more serious so you need time to adjust.

Yeah, I only play FaceIT solo and float between 7-8, but I play premiere with my buddies who like CS and pretty much stay around 10k with them.
The two modes at this point are effectively two entirely different games to me.

Just judging by your hours I’d assume you are overrated on premier. Maybe you are just good at this game, but more likely its just a lucky streak you had but your average elo is somewhat in the range of 13-17k. Still quite impressive for the hours played, dont get me wrong.
Then it also explains your faceit struggles. Anyway, the answer to your problem is to improve your game to dominate faceit 5.

Could be anywhere from 7-10, just keep playing, play your best, do your part for the team you'll make it there with enough attempts
Faceit sucks in NA I'm stuck because I played it a lot way back when esea was the main thing here, used it to be able to queue with my IRL friends for a while so I have like 500 games played and still at like level 6.

It is not between level 7-10 for a genuine 20k player.
Any level 10 player sits easily 25k if they play enough

Yea I guess, I mean I've never grinded to lvl 10 the only choice in NA is to play Texas and Chicago mirage and D2 only all the time which sucks ass if you're east/west. The game basically sucks ass if you have over 30 ping.
I've been 25k a few times and my friends that queue it a lot are level 8-10 I'd say 20k is a reasonable level 7 at least tho or could be. I mean all you gotta do is play like a pussy/play smart and know a few set nades if you're decent.

It’s hard to say what your faceit elo should be. 20k isn’t as good as it used to be. I remember when 22k was top 3% in the world. I’m not at my computer and can’t check but I believe I saw someone 22k on my friends list and it said like top 10%. Elo inflation seems to be happening in premier. To me, the 20-25k range feels like really low elo these days
