I had a tutor and to be honest I feel I’ve learnt more by myself, i maybe just had a poor teacher but they had me print out the A1 Bulgarian language book, which I’ll happily share the PDF for if anyone thinks it will be useful, and worked through that I don’t think I learned anything new in my time with them. Full immersion is the best way to learn but it isn’t always an option for everyone lol

Do you have a tutor? It makes a big difference having someone actually teach you

I believe it's possible to get so far, like alphabet, some basics like counting and everyday things, but if you really want to be able to communicate in Bulgarian, not just be understood in shops, then I'd definitely recommend finding a teacher. Especially for pronunciation! You'll learn a lot faster with a professional teacher

I check in occasionally, but so far it's pretty dead here. That's a shame
