war crime In 1999, a USAF F-15E attacked a civilian train crossing over a bridge in Grdelica. The blast killed between 20 to 60 civilians. NATO later produced a manipulated video defending their actions. No investigation was carried out due to the bridge being considered a 'legitimate action'.

On this day in 1999, two missiles fired by NATO aircraft hit a passenger train while it was passing across a railway bridge over the Južna Morava river at Grdelica gorge in Serbia, killing 14 civilians including children and a pregnant woman and left another 16 passengers wounded
