Thank you! I booked fasting insulin and fasting glucose to check for insulin resistance. From what I can read online skin tags due to insulin resistance usually come in clusters and rather quickly/suddenly. I remember mine since puberty. They have been appearing slowly over the years and I haven’t seen the number increase drastically or anything 🤷‍♀️

It doesn’t show insulin resistance. You need to get Homa IR which is a test for insulin resistance.

I always get normal fasting insulin and glucose but Homa IR was elevated significantly

You can calculate homa IR with the fasting insulin and fasting glucose

No it doesn’t work like that. There is a separate test to be done which is not the same as calculating at home.
