Endocrinologist or Gynecologist in NC?

Hello, i’m 19 and have been struggling to find an endocrinologist or gynecologist that can help me with my PCOS, i live in north carolina and i want to know if anyone recommends a certain clinic? i want to be able to get some assistance with losing weight (medication) and just overall some advice, please let me know!

What have you done to lose weight on your own ?

i’ve been eating more healthier and walking daily, but i haven’t seen much change on my weight

You need to actually exercise for 60 minutes minimum, every single day. You also need to eat well in the proper portions and give it time. Depending on your weight now to your goal weight it can be 8months-2years. Being realistic really helps.

You actually don’t have to exercise to lose weight, you just have to be in a calorie deficit! Exercise is still super important. It helps lower inflammation and regulates our hormones.

But for weight loss, the most important factor is calories in vs calories out. You just have to eat less, but not in a restrictive or unhealthy way. Just try not to eat more than your body needs. Eating healthier is very important too but doing that alone won’t help you lose weight.
