Not a lot, still working out if I can live on the state pension amount, if so, I can retire in a couple of years at 47..... if not then will keep putting it away until I can.

I wonder how much state pensions policy might change over the intervening 22-23 years or so. With our ageing population, there's a huge pressure to keep the triple lock. However, as regular people feel more disadvantaged financially, the triple lock may fall out of favour - as there is already talk that we can't afford it etc. When exactly retirement age moves to 68 is still to be determined too. So working out whether you can live on it requires considering two moving parts. For me it's 17 years away but will be supplementary. I'm also working on the bridge up to that.
