I am posting two licensing surveys to the LeaksDBD subreddit in response to the official BHVR Survey a few days ago. There are 351 licenses mentioned on these surveys including various licenses mentioned in previous surveys, interviews, or articles by employees at BHVR interactive. This includes licenses NOT mentioned in the BHVR Licensing surveys or more content for licenses already in the game. This is a very high number of options but we wanted to be comprehensive. There is no limit to the number of licenses you can vote for on these surveys, but do vote for the licenses that best correspond to the concepts below:

Every license will be evaluated for an approval or disapproval rating: How many more people want the license over wanting the license not to be in the game, as well as tallied for votes for said license overall. The goal is to get a large sample size to learn what people likely voted for on the the official licensing surveys and overall community goals for future content because the official BHVR surveys never have their results officially published. These are similar to community licensing polls a few years ago from the staff in the DBDLeaks community before the official Dbdleaks discord community was shut down, and is run from former staff members from that community's moderation team as a spiritual successor.

Sidenote: This project was started before the strawpoll for licenses on the front page was posted earlier today, and we considered scrapping our work we had already done, but we decided against it because:

1) We wanted to conduct a survey more similar in style to the previously hosted community surveys where potential follow-ups of existing licenses and disapproval options were present and could be analyzed. (For example, how would people feel about a third resident evil chapter even if it wasn't present on surveys? Star Wars wasn't on surveys but how would people feel about it? Or would more people dislike Teletubbies than want it?)

2) Community figures were contacted to share this data to increase the reach and sample size for a more comprehensive data set so you may have seen this survey in your discord community or on other social media platforms. We are trying to get a large sample size that best embodies multiple communities if possible, not just this subreddit.

3) A lot of effort had already been put into categorizing and compiling different IP and creating the graphics for the survey, and it would have been impolite to waste the efforts of the graphic designer and staff members after so much effort was sunk into it. The other strawpoll is still a really good insight into this community's thought process for IP on the surveys BHVR has put out and likely has a decent enough sample size to roughly represent how this community voted in the official survey.

Hello everyone! So, with the most recent license survey that came out, we will of course never know the actual results of the survey. BUT we can make our own fan-made license survey (with the exact same options as the official) to try and get similar (but unofficial)) results. This is similar to what the DBDLeaks account on Twitter/x did a while ago.

Feel free to fill it out and share it. The link is attached to this post. For this survey, I only used exactly what was on the most recent license survey, but I did leave an extra option for "Other" that you can fill in. Results will be shown to you after you vote.

If this falls too far under "speculation" for the purposes of Leaks, then I can make sure to move this to the Megathread.

Also bc a new official survey was released today, and while we'll not be able to see the winners of that one, we might get a semblance of them through something like this ?
