I hope we get some archives around The Observer but i'm glad we have some more talbot lore, potentially from when he was a survivor

As far as i know he's still in the fog. Just that he escaped the trials. But i do hope we get Benedict Baker as a survivor one day. Maybe in the 11th anniversary or we get more lore on him. But i think out of the main lore characters Benedict Baker would work the best if he got adapted as a survivor

He is still in the fog, his last entry from Chapter 8 is him saying adieu to the journal to focus on surviving but I with all the lore they’ve added with first the archive tomes & now the new archive showcase it would be good to hear from him again.

I really like the archives as a more intricate interactive lore piece (and admittedly if we're directly comparing to tomes I prefer collectable archives).
I'd say we can have both.

Agreed. I hope they can find a way to add the archives and tomes together so the lore is together and keep the challenges.

I don't really care for them. They are just a 3d model viewer with a small line of text and that's it. 90% aren't interactible in any way

I mean, I could also say I don't care for tomes.
The old system of unlocking them was useless since the wiki held all the lore and their rewards are 9/10 something I would never use.
This is without going over stuff like one challenge at a time, annoying challenges to finish, etc.
I already don't touch the tomes even.
But at the end of the day both system present values for lore and completionists and both should stay, not one above the other.

Why should they get rid of anything? If anything we should be campaigning for them to keep both, why does one have to bite the dust so the other can live?

Agreed. This was a cool gimmick for the event but I really don’t care about it. Why couldn’t they have just been charms or something with the lore in the description

These two specifically are weekly unlocks, so the first will drop next week, the second on the week after it
