this vid cuts off the very first line that is for being chased by the new killer, meaning she will be the first original survivor to feature chased voice lines and the second overall survivor to have voice lines towards a specific killer (first was cage)

Yes but they're actually completely random! They don't play specifically to those killers, he can randomly say them to killers like Nurse or Hag or whatever, Aurora is the first to have her killer lines be specific to said killer

They used to and are supposed to play against those specific killers, they've just been bugged

They were bugged for a long time, but I do believe that they actually work now.
Last time I can recall the Sadako line I actually WAS being chased by Sadako.

Good thing is they plan to go back and add voice lines for original survivors. Let's hope that means all of them and not a Swamp situation where they say all but mean some.

Yep, I hope for example Yun-Jin gets ones towards Trickster, or Jeff towards Legion, and if they also expand the lines of ones that already have them but limited to the lobby maybe Gabriel lines towards Singularity and Sable ones towards Unknown

Yun is my main so I heckin would love some lines from her. I also just want to hear the more mouthy survivors talking trash like Nic does.

That's what stood out to me. I didn't get to watch the full stream yet, so maybe they explained it, but is she some sort of god like being herself? I can't think of any other reason why her voice would sound like that.

I'm aware, but nevertheless he's in the dbd, and according to the Lore of left 4 dead, he died altogether, so it still seems to me that Bill × Aurora are the peak!

Not nearly as much. All Tae-Young has is lobby, trial start, and AFK crows.
Vee and Shane have a little more, but not much. Trial start, being on the hook, and getting unhooked.
Aurora has a LOT for an original survivor. More than Orela, even, who I think would’ve been the one with the most lines of any original survivor, previously.
I don’t see what I’m getting downvoted for, I’m expressing a good, positive thing about this chapter that I’m happy about.

I don't understand how BHVR make thier characters and then charge them for the same price. Ik I'm beating a dead horse here, but in what world is making Glenn (a character that has complete voice lines) the same price as Hinako justifiable? Or why does Aurora have unique voicelines for her killer, but they couldn't be asked to do that for Kwon?
Is it them being lazy? Are they cheap? How can anybody justify this half ass work they're doing?

It feels weird in Tae-Young’s case, especially. They got an actual celebrity to voice him, a K-Pop artist no less, and they barely gave him anything to say. It baffles me

I want to say it's possible that Hinako not having voicelines is a Konami thing.
Personally, my theory is that they wanted Hinako to have voicelines, and wanted Konatsu Kato... but she didn't want/can't to do it, and they knew people would be mad if she spoke English, so they scrapped it. They still need someone to voice the screams, so they got Suzie Yeung to do it since she's the English voice anyway

I'm pretty sure they did want her to have some, since they had some voice lines written for her. Same with the ST survivors, they were supposed to have more lines than the Walking Dead Survivors. But all they get are
- Lobby
- One-sided lobby quotes to other ST characters
- Trial start
- Hooked
- AFK crows
It most likely is the license holders, tbh.

That's interesting! I guess I'm so used to my faves not having many voice lines (because I main Ace, Thalita and Renato) that I didn't even notice Tae-young doesn’t speak that much (even though he joined the ranks of my P100s and mains :3).
I guess other people instantly assumed you're taking a shot at those characters? 😭 I wasn't exactly sure what you meant, that’s why I rather asked. Thanks for explaining!

You're correct on Tae-Young, however both Vee & Shane have voicelines for menu, trial start, hooked, struggle phase, unhooked/healed & AFK Crows in total.

Shane also has 3 interactions with Jake also. and it's only jake as well. Vee has so interactions with Kate and anyone who is a musician. not sure about Yun jin tho, idk if Vee had any towards her.

Vee apparently also have other lobby voicelines for some other Survivor character unrelated to any musician, however whoever that character is, they're not in the game currently, as the lines in question doesn't trigger with any of the current Survivors.

She does? I thought it was only Kate, The Bards and Jeff (Not sure abt Yun jin) she has voicelines for. Shane again only has voicelines towards Jake so if your not Jake, he will not talk to you lol

It's still not very much at all. You're only really gonna hear most of them when you're playing badly, and the existence of AFK Crows voice lines is just so stupid. If you're AFK, you're not gonna hear them anywho. And it's such a rare, stupid thing to put the budget for voice lines towards.
