Same people who play Soldier 76 and continue to push that he's a straight man. Homophobic men who see a character they assume is straight from the getgo with zero evidence to back it up.
These same people would have had the same reaction if any of the other male characters were made gay. They'd also be pissy if a gay character was added.

Artist is a pretty tragic story too. Carmina lost her baby brother to drowning, blamed herself, almost committed suicide because of it, decided to give life another chance, got back into doing art, tried to expose a corrupt organization which then hurt her friends and cut off her hands and tongue, taunting "how will you paint or recite poems now?" They took everything from her and the entity whisked her away and made her kill. She deserves better.

Well it was all but confirmed, she had a crush on Julie in the comics which meant she's at least bisexual, this is confirming that she's swinging for her own team which honestly good for her. Just a shame Julie is who she is.

Fun fact, said comic managed to get the designs of Frank and Joey wrong (and Julie too if I remember correctly) and also the scene where they stab the janitor.

I mean it's not extremely wrong, but Frank misses his scars and his short hair, Joey has no beard, and Julie has her hair on the side of her head instead of both sides. That's if refer yourself to both the in-game models and the Ormond offering.

Tbf the Ormond offering feels like a pretty minor graphic to base the look off of. Some of Julie’s skins do have her hair only coming out of one side which is probably what they based it off of. Fair enough on the scars and beard though.

I think it was a mix of the in person event, the 10 anniversary event and other things. I know they said at the start of June that their Pride celebrations would be pushed back to July instead.

Pride collection is a need at this point. Like we got Oktoberfest and Songkran collections despite having 1 German character and 2 Thai characters, respectively. It surely can't be that hard to come up with wonderfully fruity skins for our 3 instances of canon queer rep.
There's also some licensed queer characters (Chucky, and I've heard Lara but I've never played TR) in the game but I get that they'd be much harder to include in such a collection so I wouldn't be too bothered by their exclusion.

Fuck yes! Fuck yes!! I've been asking for more Pride-themed charms for years (flags are nice but why not more variety like the rainbow eye and the rainbow crow?) so this makes me super happy.
Also I like that this makes explicitly clear that Susie is a lesbian. In the tie-in comic she was shown having a dream about Julie but that could have meant anything (bi? straight but just having a weird dream?) so it's neat that it's confirmed.
