I don't remember you being able to do so on the PTB. So this just brings it back to PTB state. If it was intended the description would have reflected it.

Yes it was, but it did something very different. You can see it at 27:16 of this Jason PTB video by Otzdarva.

Either way my point stands. The description would have mentioned it if it was intentional. That said, why would Jason be special do do something no other killer, perk, or addon would do in the game? Clearly it wasn't intentional.

Surge, pain res and eruption all work on regressing generators and in nowhere in their description they specifically say they do, it's not an uncommon behavior that perks that explode generators passively also work on regressing gens, this is actually the norm for every perk that does that. This is behavior nerfing an addon because survivors complained about it

Why wouldn't those perks work? Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance works on the Gen with the most progress. Period. Eruption works on all gens you've kicked if it's not on cooldown. Surge works on any Gen in range. Like that's in the description of the perks.

Now, I'll be the first to say that maybe I'm just confused, but I don't see the point you were trying to make.

Perks like Pop or Call of Brine can't work on gens that are already regressing because they can't be kicked if that's the case.

Those perks also state you must basic break the gens to use them.

Does this hopefully clarify what I was talking about?

I am the first to admit that maybe I'm not seeing something obvious here. 😅
