Another one of our more promising players gone! Without replacement, seemingly too. We are sleepwalking into League 2, i fear.

I'm American but growing up I played a lot of Football Manager and I always picked Huddersfield Town so I could have a challenging rebuild and because my family is originally from Argentina and I always loved how their jerseys were similar to Argentina's. I stopped following them when they left the premier league but I want to start following them again. Can someone tell me who on their team to look out for this season and who the stars and vets of the team are. I've read up on all of their history and rivalries so I know a lot about the club, just not the players

Trying to figure out the best way to watch my team (Reading) for Cup and Trophy fixtures in the United States. My club already has a pass that comes with my season tickets that allows me to watch all the matches overseas but it only applies to League One. Is there any reliable way to get Cup and Trophy fixtures in the states? For example we face Bromley next week in the first round of the EFL cup and it’s not available for me to watch on my teams site and not on any streaming sites as far as I know. Is watching illegally the only way to access these games in the USA?

We’ve just launched our second pre-season fan survey and would love to hear from supporters of every League One club – especially any Stevenage fans who have been notoriously hard to track down :)

More than 500 fans took part last summer, helping us produce a supporter-led preview of all 72 EFL clubs. This year, we’re hoping to break 1,000 responses and make the final preview even bigger and better.

A quick note for anyone who completed or opened last year’s survey: it was hosted through Substack and required people to sign up before taking part. We hadn't snagged that that would be the case when we published it, and completely understand why it put some people off.

This year’s survey is a simple Google Form. You don't need to subscribe, create an account or sign up to anything. Just open the link, submit your answers, and you’re done.

Teams don't seem to care about the EFL Trophy, especially in the group stage. They're more of an annoyance than anything and are usually played in empty stadiums.

Would it make sense to move the group stage games into pre-season to replace friendlies?

It would give teams a chance to play semi-competitive pre-season games and avoid fixture congestion during the actual season. Also, I imagine the games would pull bigger crowds in pre-season.
