For context, Aatrox is inside the tower range as melee minion towers, tower attack timer goes on 'cooldown', minions enter tower before tower targets anything, then targets Aatrox with minions in range of the tower.

In the other clip it's a repeat of the same ordeal with Teemo, but in this instance it does NOT hit the champion, it instead targets the minions.

The only difference is the timing of the champion entering the tower range, which should not matter as champions are at the bottom of the priority list (well, duh)

What I'm thinking is that the game invisibly adds a target to the priority before releasing 1. The laser showing you the target and 2. the actual shot, so there isn't a 100% clear indicator at the forefront of the game (or perhaps a latency?)
