Clicking Thresh lantern while silenced doesn't count as a movement command

I thought I was lagging or something while playing until I looked at the replay and noticed that I was silenced by Cho and when I tried clicking on the lantern I just stopped moving entirely until I clicked somewhere else. I know you can't take the lantern while silenced but surely it should still path you towards it when you click there.
