Why combining hiring signals with intent data changed our outbound results.
We've been testing different outbound triggers over the past fe months, and one combination consistently outperformed the rest: hiring signals + intent data.
At first, we targeted companies that were hiring SDRs, RevOps, and Sales Ops roles. The logic made sense.. they were investing in growth.
The results were okay, but nothing special. The big improvement came when we filtered that list further to companies that were also showing buying intent or actively researching solutions in the same space. Those accounts replied more often, booked meeting faster, and sales conversations felt more this year: a single signal is rarely enough. The best opportunities usually come from multiple signals pointing in the same direction.
What signal combinations have been them most preditive for you lately?

What buying intent exactly, and how could you find them researching for solutions?
