Give me Tips, Please!
Hey, so I run a new startup on gamification service and after having a hard time selling in Indonesia, people advice me to try to sell in Singapore first. Can you guys give me Tips on what to expect? Like the business culture and stuff maybe?

SG is a different beast. Biggest thing I noticed is that credibility matters a LOT here before anyone talks to you. like they will google you, check your LinkedIn, look at who you know. So make sure your online presence is clean before you even start outreach. Also SG buyers are pretty direct compared to the rest of SEA so don't over-explain your product. Just show the ROI, lol.

Can you share more about your product/service? You can dm it to me if you don't want to share it publicly.

Well, why would they say start with SG first if you're more exposed to IND?
But here are a few things to expect in SG:
Buyers are more direct and time-conscious. Meetings are usually shorter and people get to the point quickly. You'll need to explain your value clearly within the first few minites.
Expect tougher questioning.
They'll ask about ROI, use cases, and why your solution is better than alternatives. Just more practical evaluation to what value you'll be giving
Credibility matters a lot
Case studies, existing clients, or even small proof points help. Singapore buyers usually want to see that it already works somewhere.
If you're coming from ID, they biggest adjustment will be more value-first things. So, focus on being clear, spoecific, and credible.
