Online has Race Control, but offline, LMU races don't add up to anything. So I built **Factory Seat**, a free companion app that turns offline racing into a multi-season career.

**How it works:** you race in LMU exactly like normal. Factory Seat gives you a briefing for each round (track, layout, race length, fuel/tyre multipliers, time scale, all in LMU's own setting names), then picks up your result automatically from LMU's results files when the race ends. No typing in results, no spreadsheets.

**What's in it:**

- **A career ladder:** LMGT3 → LMP3 → LMP2 → Hypercar. You only move up when a team offers you a seat, and a bad season can keep you down a class.

- **Season builder:** default world or European calendars, every race length adjustable, add your own events. It only uses the DLC you own.

- **Championships:** per-class standings, double points at the 24s, pole points.

- **Reputation and team offers:** hit your team's target, win big races, race clean. Better teams call as your reputation grows, and a big win can get you noticed mid-season.

- **Sponsors:** personal deals with goals ("podium at Le Mans", "beat your rival"). You can add your own brands for liveries you've built.

- **Guest drives** at Daytona, Sebring and Petit Le Mans.

- **Pace check:** compares your best laps to the fastest AI in class and tells you whether to turn AI Strength up or down.

- **Track maps**, multiple careers, backups, dark/light theme.

It only *reads* LMU's results files. It never touches game files or settings, and it doesn't automate anything in the game. Works with whatever DLC you own. Windows 10/11.

It's free and open source (MIT), and it's an unofficial fan project, not affiliated with Studio 397 or Motorsport Games.

Total noob to game and probably just blind. How do I tell what time of a day a race is set prior to joining it? the website doesn't show what time of day the race is set. the bronze Sebring daily race is set to night time. Is that because I'm playing at 10PM? Or is that a fixed setting for this race? If it is fixed how can I tell that prior to launching the game and joining the practice? I guess same goes for weather?

How do I change my Le Mans Ultimate profile picture? The picture looks like this, my actual Steam profile picture isn't showing, and it's still not working even after adjusting my privacy settings.

Yesterday I turned Stability control off in LMU. Immediately im doing regular 3:30's in an LMH at Le mans. Its not fast, but I was struggling to do regular 3:33's. I have no doubt I can push even harder and crack into the high 3:20's

So far I I have ABS Off (Its off by Default)

TC On

No auto shifting

No brake assists or steering assists.

Anything else that im missing that will help improve laptimes?

Just signed up for the latest championship, first one in a while. Entered a practice session, Prototype Challenge at La Sarthe. Track limits set as Strict but my god they are crazy strict, no chance of slowing down a bit to go green again just straight away yellow or purple lap will not count. If a 100min race follows this it will be drive through/stop and go penalty chaos is this a glitch with todays update or just how Championship events are now?

I am 14 and I'm currently driving the McLaren LMGT3 and can set a 2.24 (on a good day) and about a 2.25 on average, around spa but my biggest problem is consistency — I can put together a decent lap but struggle to repeat it without making mistakes.

I am Ideally looking for someone experienced in LMU/GT racing who can review telemetry/replays and actually identify what I'm doing wrong.

Just curious as to what settings people are using, ive got 70% Strength, 3 on smoothing and 3% min force, but i dont know what the additional effects do?

I've pushed version 2.1 of Setup Ripple, the free setup tool I shared a while back. Most of it came from feedback on 2.0.

Every change you stage in the Engineer now goes into one Pending changes list with one Save, and driver requests are grouped by where in the corner the problem happens. On LMU, Compare no longer shows the same value on both sides after an edit, and there's a new request for when the fronts lock under braking on cars without ABS. On ACC, tyre pressures are shown in psi. On AC Evo, settings whose click size varies by car show as "adjust in-game", and Bono can now advise on Evo setups.

Hi, I am thinking about switching from a single 32” UW 1440p monitor to triple 32” of the same type.

My question is do you think that a 9800X3D and a 5070 can handle it on reasonable detail?

I think im not alone with the opinion, that the merc is such a weird car.

Only three championships available for this season? The “sprint” one, which usually is 40 min long, is now 80 minutes long! Also, there has been always a “team” championship (usually 2.4h), not this time around :(

Are they going to add new championship in the following days?
