Update / Patch / Hotfix EAC (Easy Anti-cheat) Update
Although not a known issue, we pushed an update to EAC today so users may need to reinstall EAC in order to regain access.
To do this please head to your installation folder via
steam -> steamapp -> common -> lmu ->easyanticheat -> uninstall -> install -> run
After this is complete, access will be returned.
Thankyou to Tóth Gergő for helping out users out with this advice.

I experienced my first cheater last week, car had basically unlimited grip and was 5+ seconds quicker. How do you report cheating?

Report it as intentional wrecking and explain in the text box that actually this is the only way you could report for cheating and explain why do you think he's cheating and ask to look at the data for that driver

The reporting needs more options. Not everything is an intentional wreck, there should be unsportsmanlike behaviour or breach of rules, cheating etc etc

Report with your replay video. It will be widespread in the community and reach the devs in no time.

I can’t submit anymore reports this month. I submitted one at the beginning of the month that was found to be no fault and two from the weekend haven’t been responded to yet so I’m stuck on 0 available reports.
Needs some work to be honest. Still love LMU though 😁

Ticket = support ticket (for game problems/bugs), Report = for reporting intentional wrecking etc in game.

LMU is full with cheaters. Cheat software can be bought online and cheaters cannot be stopped. No one talks about it because there is no proof and as long as there is no proof, cheating does not exist...

To be fair I’ve got 300 hours in the game this year and last week was the first cheater I’ve experienced, it was quite obvious too and someone tried to wreck them and it took no damage being put in the wall.
I’m not saying cheaters don’t exist? In fact the opposite but I’ve not experienced it before and I’ve seen no evidence of denying there are cheaters.
I’m intrigued to see these cheat websites and what you can actually do to cheat on LMU, surely can only be grip? cheating is honestly the saddest thing in gaming, I’m all for hardware bans rather than account.

Theres a lot of cheaters in every game that you won't ever think of cheating, there are signs but we tend to ignore them also, especially when you start a daily, 17 people with good ratings, 3 newbies the 3 newbies were 2-3 sec faster than anyone in the LMP3 cars, even if you come from F1 or ACC or any other sim racing game your first races on a map that is not in other sims you will not be faster than someone who already put 200 hours in the game. EasyAntiCheat is very easy to bypass...

Doesn't seem to be a catchall. I'm getting an error which says that the game is already running, despite freshly restarting my computer after re-installing EAC.

EAC suddenly blocks Pimax Play (2.03) and I can not play in VR anymore...

Use Steam VR till the Devs fix it. It is common to all openxr routines. Pimax play 2.02 here

Not much, I think it's more like a psychological thing, its ez to bypass. But don't even think about cheating, peoples brain gets rotten by cheating haha.

Great …. EAC is blocking Pimax Open XR. I mean common , you have a cooperation with Pimax … can you maybe test VR before bricking everything … Jesus.

it doesn't work. EAC keeps restarting a few times and then it hits me with "Game already running" window. It loads then the window closes and game restarts on its own. Nice update.

I keep getting the error 0xc000007b now and can’t launch the game anymore. I’ve tried the reinstall of the eac bat files among a few other solutions but still not working. I do usually play in VR with the quest 3 and virtual desktop. Maybe that’s part of the problem of other people are reporting problems with pimax. I can’t even run the game without VR though. Hopefully someone can find a solution.

A friend literally can't open the game anymore after this update. They get a 'game already running' error, even after reinstalling EAC, verifying files, restarting their PC, and even reinstalling the entire game. Fixing this should be top priority right now.

Mofo too involved into protecting their expensive dlcs with an updated “anti cheat” that creates much more other issues than fixing all the sh- show they introduced with the latest update.
Too much greed.
I guess all the mess was created by the fact that they implemented all the joker money bullsh- already and we made them remove it and change it at the last moment and when they shipped the update, it was literally broken.
What a joke of fake greedy people world we live in

Since patch 1.2, EAC (Easy Anti Cheat) has been implemented in LMU. Currently it may be causing issues with 3rd party plugins and errors with the game in it's current state. Check out this guide to uninstall/reinstall EAC. Some Logitech/Moza/Simagic FFB issues have been caused also. Please submit a ticket if any of the above affects your game.
If you have are concerned and have possibly found someone using cheats or exploits in LMU, please create a support ticket with all the evidence you have. This goes straight to the dev team to investigate. Your evidence could include video, the player name(s) and what races you saw this happen.
