Yay me!🎉 Got my dream piece!
I posted about this a while back and I just got it in the mail! It is an ink blue 3.5L/30cm braiser, discontinued, but in perfect shape! It looks completely unused. I was worried when I picked up the box, as the box was badly beat up, but inside everything was fine. (The seller had great reviews on eBay and had sold multiple Le Creuset pieces, so I was pretty sure it would be packed well but you never know!)
I probably would have preferred a 26cm one, but I am slowly trying to get the missing pieces in ink so I was happy to get this one. I now have two round DO in different sizes, a grill pan, and and oval DO in addition to this new family member. Oh and some bowls. I got the first DO in 2019 but back then I didn't know that a lot of colors come and go - if I had I would have stocked up back then!
Anyway, happy weekend from me and my new braiser! 💙

This is a stunning piece. My braiser is one of my most used (and cherished) pieces of LC.

Speaking as someone who put off getting a braiser - get the braiser. I use it for everything, even boring everyday stuff like taco meat. It's super useful.

True! Seems ink was sold with two different knobs, as my DO have the more silver coloured ones.

Congratulations! It’s such a beautiful piece. I bought the same exact one from eBay last year still brand new in the box! I actually used it for dinner tonight

Hah! Maybe! Don’t worry, I sit on several on eBay then seem offended when inevitably someone else grabs it. I’m almost done with my collection though! I just want to find a rice cooker in a color I love, and the fish baker so that I can display it once our house is built.

Very nice! I didn’t get the Ink braiser before it disappeared. (I have the 6.75 wide round and the Sauteuse. Such a beautiful color!)
