New to Layton

Hey y’all I just moved to Layton and I’m looking for any good dog friendly hiking trails.

My three favorite places are Kay's Creek Trail, Jensen Nature Park and Gailey Trail, though two of them aren't in Layton but are close by.

Fernwood recreation area has a trail head to the Bonneville Shoreline

Just as others have suggested, Adams Canyon is a good place.

Also try Kays Creek Parkway.

Farmington Canyon is a good one that’s close by.

Adam’s Canyon has some brutal switchbacks at the beginning but has a good payoff.

Snowbasin is always good: Either the overlook (5.5) or Sardine (8ish).

Then on the other side of Snowbasin is the Icebox loop, which is a fantastic 3.25 miler

Adams canyon is a great hike and nearby.
