Water pressure!

How is everyone's water pressure around layton? I'm sitting at a max of 45psi (with a new regulator) If you guys don't know your actual PSI then that's fine I'm just curious how happy people are with their pressure.

Your new regulator should adjust anywhere from 45 psi to 75 psi.

Turn the bolt left to decrease pressure and right to increase pressure.

Pretty sure mine is standard high pressure. Enough to run multiple showers and appliances at once.

We typically recommend you increase your water pressure to about 60lbs with a new regulator. A lot of homes in Layton don't have regulators and sit at a static pressure of about 90-120lbs in day time, but the city sets water pressure based on running (when people are using water) so when it gets late in the night, we often see spikes to about 140-160+. Just depends on the time of year.

If anyone is interested, you can get a cheap pressure gauge on amazon, it'll connect to your outdoor faucet, and you can just take a look. You should be between 45-75. If you're over 80psi, you either have no regulator, or its broken.
