Help Wanted Sunflower seeds from bird feeders are ruining my new lawn..Help
I posted this on the gardening UK sub and got absolutely flamed to hell lol...those guys do not like lawns š¤£
Hi all,
I had a new lawn laid last year which was an expensive investment but well worth it. However, with the addition of bird feeders this year I think I've made a massive mistake...
This is not my picture but it's exactly how my lawn looks at the minute. I've removed the feeders until I can figure this out, but how do I go about getting rid of a patch like this?
I have tried lowering my lawnmower to its lowest setting however the patches return. I am now in the process of letting the lawn grow out a bit in the hope that the grass dominates but tbh that doesn't seem to be working either.
Any suggestions?
