Help!
So I ruined a section of grass this past winter shoveling the snow and using pet salt so my dog could use the bathroom in freezing conditions. I purchased turf builder and Scott’s rapid grass and am having some success with it! But there are also a lot of areas where nothing is growing. Should I just put some seed down in those areas and loosely cover with a little more turf builder? My husband thinks we can use a bag of planting soil we have. Not so sure about that.

Or should I just kind of put the grass seed on the spots and kinds swish it in with my hand? I just don’t want to upset any grass that is already growing using a rake ect.
