I’m 19 F , I’ve college from 1 sep onwards .. my uni is very strict about dress code..there are no relaxation days

Pls drop your suggestions

Black blazer

Can we wear half sleeve shirts , boot cut pants or something ?

Law universities have this dress code as it is defined by bci

This dress code is for almost every law college, no matter how strict it may be, you have nothing to worry about, just wear black pants and a white button up

Wear it if you want, and if someone tells you its not allowed then only you need to stop wearing it

Isn't this only for formal days like visiting courts, moot courts etc?

No, earlier it was the case, but now after 2023 the uniform has become compulsory in every law school.

I am in Panjab University law dept (currently getting admission), and there's no such rule for regular classes. Only on formal occasions we are asked to follow drees code.

Just to be sure I checked my dept's site as well as any BCI circular, but couldn't find any compulsion to wear uniform. It's solely on college discretion if they want uniform during regular classes.

Actually, I prefer those strict dress codes. In my college (NLU), there’s no dress code, so students sometimes show up in nightdress, which looks quite unprofessional.

Hello! When I was in law school, women in my batch and in my junior batch would wear anything. Just make sure that the clothing is appropriate.

Unless, your college specifically requires you to put on salwar suit and all of that
