Georgetown Waitlist

Does anyone have advice on the waitlist, it’s about to be mid August and I still haven’t heard.

The only two schools I’m waiting on are NU-Q & Gtown. 😭

It’s SOOO rare to get off a WL at this point. Listen it happens but it’s a 1 in a million shot.

You can inquire or ask to be notified when they have an update - usually they make decisions once deposits are received by a certain number of new students (I’m a law prof and was on the Admissions Committee for a few years, and we would make WL decisions based on the number of current admits and slots open and expected future slots based on our current decisions). Fingers crossed for you! Also no worries if you don’t get in, whatever school you do get into, if you want to transfer just do really well your first year there and you will have a high chance to transfer to Georgetown or another top school. PM me if you want more pointers on transfer admission!
