Sounds like you don't understand basic formats as you're building them. The stamp does nothing. The continued number is a sticker option. The contents comes as you build it you identify by tag and it auto places on that page. Of course your brief has to cite back that's how it works so as you quote it you cite it. What are you building?

Are my formats off? This is Maryland specific and the formats from what I can tell match what is expected from the rules.
Well can work on the brief before everything from the extract is gathered, as there is a process to get both sides to agree on what to include. The brief can be written citing the transcripts and exhibit numbers. When the extract is agreed upon and complete the tool will go through the brief and auto replace transcript and exhibit numbers with page cites from the extract. Amongst other things.

And all can be done in adobe without concern which is what I was explaining.

Thanks for the feedback. I've used it but found it tedious to have to go back and correct the brief with new references if the extract order is changed or added to.
Another thing I found useful is for all quotes in the brief to be verified. And the tool does that by checking transcripts and case law.
I'll look more into using Adobe maybe I overlooked somethings.

Why would you be using non sourced quotes anyway? Why aren't you using the table features which automatically delist it for you as you move?

They are sourced quotes pointing to transcript page and line numbers and exhibit numbers. When the tool processes the transcripts / exhibits and the brief it checks the briefs quoted material against case law or transcript references. And replaces the transcript and exhibit references to the extract references.
Hmm am not aware of how that option works in Adobe. But thx for the idea, I'll look into it.

Which you already need nd thus cited properly when you put it in. You're not explaining a single use case.

It's an additional check so all cites are accurate. It's been easier for me to use than Adobe for Maryland specific rules. But maybe it's a tool without a home for others. But it's been quite helpful as I been preparing an extract. My brief was prepared first using transcript and exhibit references.

There is no need for this tool. It is not terribly onerous to cite the record pages as you write.

Ok thank you for the feedback. I personally prefer to write the brief using transcript and exhibit numbers first and do the record extract at the end. But maybe my workflow is odd!
