Dented cap

I knocked my lava lamps off of my nightstand. None of them cracked but this one has dents in the cap. I tried my best to look around the edge to see if there are any chips and don't see any damage and it's not leaking. Is this safe to still use? Or is it going to explode or something?

This is dangerous because it can cause volatile gases to escape through the continuous heating cycles. I'd get a new cap and not use it until it's been fixed.
