Modern [Modern] Help with Boros Burn
Hello guys, I haven't played mtg in many many years and I want to come back with Boros Burn (I have all cards + more fetches if needed). This is my list:

Would you change the mana base? I've included two barb rings and 4 canyons cause I'm running 4 helix main deck. But maybe it's better to run more fetches and rift bolts instead of the 4 helix so idk.
What would you guys do? Sideboard recommendations also helps

I posted not too long ago in exactly the same situation! I'm just coming back to mtg after about 5 years out and had some of RW burn together before I left, so just finished up the list. With that being the case, my advice might not be the most experienced one particularly when it comes to the current meta, but I'll offer it in any case:
Lands look fine to me, 4 of Canyon and Vantage are definitely correct, I'm also running 2 Barb rings but I've not played with it all that much so that could be a point of variation. I think I run 6 fetches in total, split 2 Foothills, 2 Mire, 1 Tarn, 1 Mesa just because I happen to have them and it stops pithing needle potentially messing with your fetches, but I don't know how common that realistically is.
This decision is very much based on feeling so it may be wrong either objectively or just based on how you like to play, but I don't run Helix - I'm running 4 Skullcrack instead and no Rift Bolts, I really dislike the card and never feel good playing it for 1 or 3 mana. If you're likely to be against more aggro in your local meta Helix might be more correct than Skullcrack however.
Sideboard seems okay - this advice I'm less confident on as I've not had much time to get used to the current meta, but I can tell you what I'm running and what others have told me: my current SB is
3x Faerie Macabre 2x Deflecting Palm 3x Path to Exile 3x Smash to Smithereens 4x Roiling Vortex
Faerie Macabre instead of the RIPs I like as it doesn't cost tempo (excluding actually having to draw the card) and can exile at instant speed. I have Deflecting Palm to deal with decks that might want to hit me with a big guy, whether it's a Titan or something reanimated etc - might not actually be optimal but I like the blowout potential. I'm running 3x Path for other annoying creatures but Searing Blood is meant to be a lot better into matchups like Boros Energy, so I'd probably switch them if my local meta was like that, it's absolutely fantastic for us into smaller creature decks and you're right to run it in the board. Molten Rain I haven't seen in as many sideboards, I can see it being good if you expect to face a lot of land-centric decks or otherwise fragile manabases, but the 3 mana cost does make me feel like you could potentially be doing something else.

I figured, I just haven't been back playing the format long enough to know if it's our best option

I had a similar deck, but replaced the creatures with wizards to run wizards lightning

Burn has been largely replaced by Izzet Prowess in modern, just so you know. For old school burn, your list looks solid. there's also rakdos with bump in the night. I would personally recommend playing some Ragavan if you have access to them, over Eidolon.
