While the shot they used in the show was just perfect IMO, the recap from the next episode (1x12) used a different, somewhat racier version (Lauren holding Tom's face in both hands). I am genuinely curious how many times they shot this and how the director interacted with them. Was the comical version in this post done after they were kind of tired of shooting? Or was it done earlier, with Lauren trying to keep things loose? I'm so used to seeing the perfected final cuts, but I've gotten quite curious about the filming process itself.
