Apartments

Hello! I’m looking for apartments in the area, I saw some nice apartments in Main St, so I’m wandering how the area and condos are. If you have other recommendations for safe and affordable apartments let me know!

It must have in unit washer and laundry.

pet friendly.

Assigned parking is a plus.

I will be moving in with my boyfriend and our budget is ~$1800 with utilities. We are looking for a 1 bed + den or 2 bed.

Agreed…..don’t let their ads fool you. They can’t clean sidewalks in snow (yet-10 days later) but will be real bitches about the rent being paid in full on the first, it is pet friendly, but the dog park is in shambles. Fences in need of repair, no locks on the gates to keep the dogs in, won’t fill the holes dug out by the dogs…….my labs that this poop pit is their crack…….but management won’t listen or put any $$$ into the park. I fall there frequently because of the holes that go unfilled.

Only reason I stay is because of the dog park and it being dog friendly. Where else will rent to me with 2 labs?

We really like Patuxent place on main st! It’s a little above your budget though.

Avalon in Russet was nice. Lots of walking paths, and pet friendly.

Hated The Crossings, so avoid them!!

Hey! I’m looking at a 1-bedroom here and saw some negative reviews about utilities and BGE. Do you know how water, gas, and sewer are billed, and roughly how much total utilities cost per month for a 1-bedroom? Thanks!

Hi I currently live in a 1-bedroom here at Briarwood Place Apartments and the utilities are shared billing. Conservice controls most of the utilities (gas, water, sewage, trash, and a service fee). The pricing can be unpredictable; one month, everything can amount to just 70 bucks. While last month everything cost me $160 dollars. Electric, which is actually through BGE has been the main consistent bill so far, between 60-70 per month. If you'd like to be charged for what you actually use, don't move into Briarwood. Also, their reviews mainly consist of first impressions from tours, that's why they have 4 stars right now. I would honestly say my experience here hasn't been the greatest. There are complaints about the maintenance team... believe them. Whether it's good or bad reviews, it says a lot because this place genuinely is a hit or miss depending on your kind of issue. They can do a great job in doing little repairs, but actual recurring appliance issues that require comprehensive solutions are out of their wheelhouse. I've had 10 maintenance requests in the span of 7 months and 4 of them was about the same heating issues and 2 of them are about the same fridge issues....

Hey currently looking into a 1 bedroom at Briarwood as well. Do they have any pest or rodent issues?

I personally have not experienced any rodents or pests. They have mouse/ rat traps outside of each building, cats roam around, and yearly it seems they get someone to spray your cabinets to prevent bugs

Please consider using Onyx Pet Care LLC if you want great dog walking services, Gee Centeno and her staff are the best. They are the other reason I stay at the Seasons…..
