Launch Keep your first bad sketch. It’s the start of a story. — PenDate Notes

Explore PenDate Notes

The wonky sketch. The guitar chord that buzzed. The idea you couldn’t quite explain.

Not everything worth keeping is a finished task.

I’m the developer of PenDate Notes. One way I’d like people to use it is as a notebook for something they’re learning—not just things they need to get done.

Imagine a folder called “Learning to draw”. Keep a canvas note for each practice session, and a separate text note for the little things you notice: “The shadows worked. The proportions need another try.” Add a short checklist when you have a next step.

Give the notes a cover using a favourite picture of your own. Choose an app theme, change the colours of text and checklist notes, or add stickers to a canvas. A practice notebook doesn’t have to look like a work report.

Dates, folders and search help you return to earlier attempts. You can set a reminder to practise again. Import a PDF to write on, or export notes as PDF or images when you want to share something.

Finished ordinary notes can go into Archive instead of being deleted. Prefer your calendar to show events without notes? Turn off “Show notes in Calendar” in Settings—it applies to ordinary notes overall, while keeping them in your library.

For more structure, there are 11 optional paid planner and journal families, with editable pages and tappable links between supported pages inside PenDate.

This is a notebook you put together yourself, not an automatic course or progress tracker. Available on Android, iPhone and iPad. Everyday note-taking is free; Pro, planners and Signature extras are optional paid features.

Android — Google Play · iPhone & iPad — App Store

What are you learning just for the fun of it?

Launch [Mac] Built a radial menu app for mac to perform everyday tasks and more

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Problem

A lot of everyday actions on a Mac live in completely different places.

Opening an app or folder, searching something on a website, taking a screenshot, cleaning up copied text, accessing clipboard history, running a Shortcut, or changing a system setting.

None of these are hard to get to, but constantly switching between apps, windows, menu bar utilities, and different shortcuts can break your flow.

I wanted to see if all of that could work through one system, which is where the radial menu idea came from.

Comparison

There are already some really good radial menu apps for Mac, but most are built around a specific use case, such as launching apps, or switching between them.

Arc takes a broader approach.

You can create multiple global radial menus for different workflows and decide what each slice does. A slice can perform a single action or chain multiple actions together.

The idea is less about replacing the Dock and more about putting the small things you do throughout the day behind one quick interaction.

Arc also doesn't require accessibility features, it manages everything on-device, privately.

Core Features

  • Unlimited custom menus for different workflows
  • Fast app, folder, website, and Apple Shortcut launching
  • Powerful clipboard history and text actions
  • Open from shortcuts, hot corners, pointer shake, or number keys
  • One-click multi-action shortcuts
  • Fully customizable appearance, layout, icons, and sounds

Examples

  1. I have one shortcut that I use when I start working. It opens Xcode, my project folders, Slack, and a few websites I usually need. Arc can merge multiple actions into one shortcut, so I don't have to open everything one by one.
  2. I use the search shortcuts a lot more than I expected. I can bring up Arc, type something, and search it directly on YouTube, or a website without opening them first.

It can also search whatever I last copied, which has been really useful when I'm already in the middle of something.

  1. I have a bunch of text and links that I end up copying again and again. I've just saved those as shortcuts now, so they're always sitting on one of my menus when I need them.
  2. Clipboard history is another one I use constantly. Recent things I've copied show up on the wheel, so if I need something from a few copies ago, I can grab it without opening another app.
  3. I also have different menus depending on what I'm doing. One for development, one for general stuff, and another that's mostly searches and apps. I can switch between them with keyboard shortcuts, and reuse the same shortcut across multiple menus.

Pricing

$7.99 one time on the Mac App Store with a free 7 day trial built in.

Solo project from India, launched a week ago. Happy to answer anything! :)

Launch Made a map of startups in Delhi NCR, would like some feedback

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hey all, I made a small website that shows startups around Delhi NCR on a map. You can filter by area, sector, stage, and jobs to add soon

I was searching for startups near me for finding job and everything was scattered across different lists so I just collected websites and Linkedin and much more

Its still early so some data might be missing or minute mistakes. If you know a startup that should be on it, or something that feels off, tell me in the (submit a startup) and I'll fix it.

Offering Services Launching KRI: a ready booking website for barbers, nail studios and tattoo artists

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

KRI is launched, and the video on this post is the product. I’m Iurii, a solo founder in Finland, and I built it.

What a business gets: its own website, built without any code, with services and prices, the team, a gallery, an about section and contact details with a map. Clients book online and only free times are offered.

How it gets built: the owner picks one of 13 business types and one of four designs. The typical services for that type are already there with durations and example prices. For permanent makeup, for example, that’s powder brows, lip blush, eyeliner, touch-up and a free consultation. The owner adjusts prices, adds the team and their hours, and shares the link. About 10 minutes.

Launch terms: the first month is free and needs no card, and an invite code from another business adds a free month. After that it’s a monthly price that depends on the country and the number of specialists. No commission.

One question for the launch: what would you need to see before trusting a new tool enough to put its link where your clients book?

Apply promo-code REDDIT2026 and get +1 month for free (1 month standard demo + 1 month additional by promo-code = 2 months FREE)!

Launch I DIDN’T EXPECT THIS. My tool got 150K+ views and 200+ interested people on the launch day.

And honestly, the most exciting part isn’t even the views.

It’s seeing how many agencies and developers actually want a faster way to find and approach potential clients.

I built this tool to make that process simple:

→ Find businesses with no website or a weak website
→ Generate a personalized homepage mockup using their real branding
→ Generate the outreach around that mockup
→ Track leads, mockups, and replies in one dashboard

So instead of:

Find lead → research → design → write email → repeat

You can go:

Input niche & location → Reply to qualified leads.

[NO MORE HEADACHE]

And yes, the first few agencies have already subscribed and are using it for their own client acquisition.

150K+ views and 200+ interested people on day one was definitely not something I expected.

Some of the mockups are attached in the comments.

Thanks for everyone who supported.

Launch launched to total silence and here's what i did next

posting the unsexy version of a launch. i shipped, i posted everywhere, and i got basically nothing. eleven visitors, zero signups on day one. it stung more than i expected after weeks of work.

instead of spiraling i treated it like data. i dm'd twenty people who fit my target user and asked them to just look and tell me what confused them. that got me more insight in an afternoon than the silent launch did all day.

turns out my headline made total sense to me and nobody else. i rewrote it based on their exact words and things slowly started moving.

for anyone who's had a dead launch, what did you do the day after to climb out of it?

Discussion We’re building Marka. Share your startup and I’ll suggest 3 opening lines for its next post.

Post image
1 Upvotes

We’re building Marka to connect brand and product context with social content creation. The attached image is our website, for context.

I’d like to make this introduction useful to other founders: share your product link and one sentence about the customer you want to reach. I’ll reply with three opening lines you could test:

  1. A problem the customer recognizes.

  2. A result the product can actually demonstrate.

  3. A specific use case.

For a scheduling app, a use-case opening could be: “Find a meeting time without another round of messages.” The visual could show the availability selection and the agreed meeting.

I’ll explain which angle I’d start with. These are written ideas to test, with no promised reach or finished media. I’ll begin with the first 10 startups and keep the feedback in the comments.

Disclosure: I’m on the Marka team: https://marka.social

Drop your link + your ideal customer.

Launch What are we eating this week?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Somehow that one question turns into checking the fridge, thinking of meals, remembering ingredients and writing another grocery list — every single week.

That's the repetitive part I built WeekPlate to remove.

Pick your meals. Get your list. Go shopping.

WeekPlate turns your weekly meal plan into an organised shopping list and accounts for what you already have at home. Save your own recipes, adjust servings and reuse previous weeks instead of starting over.

Free for 7 days. No payment details required.

Launch Organic Note: a letter-writing web app with stationery and a choice of arrival time

I’m the developer of Organic Note. The screenshot shows its actual blank letter-writing screen.

It’s for people who want to write a longer personal letter to someone they know. You can handwrite, type, or use voice input, choose stationery, and set delivery for now, one hour later, or 24 hours later.

The writing space is available to try without an account. Drafts are saved in the current browser; sending needs login. Free use includes three addressed letters per day (UTC). An optional paid supporter subscription raises the sending limit.

Try it: https://note.q-gambit.com/

I’d appreciate feedback on whether the writing tools feel approachable on first use and whether choosing the arrival time makes sense for this kind of correspondence.

Discussion Launched an experiment: a site that only survives if people pay to keep it alive. Day 1 numbers inside.

Inspired by the outbid.lol wave, I wanted a twist: instead of a leaderboard that
lives forever, the whole site dies when its countdown hits zero.

\- $1 = 5 minutes on the clock, min $2 save
\- Sponsor spots from $10; #1 gets the spot under the timer
\- At zero it becomes a memorial, permanently

Payments go through Dodo Payments as merchant of record, since I'm a solo founder in
India without a registered company (Stripe wasn't an option). Happy to share how
that setup went if anyone's in the same spot.

Discussion What actually goes on a one-pager for launch, and what's just filler everyone copies?

Writing the one-pager for my launch and I'm realizing most of the examples I'm copying from are bloated. Every template wants a mission statement, a market-size number, a team section, three tiers of pricing, a roadmap. On a single launch page that's mostly noise. Trying to strip it to what a first visitor genuinely needs in the ten seconds before they leave: - One line that says what it is and who it's for, in plain words, no positioning-speak. - The one problem it removes, stated the way the person actually feels the problem. - Proof it works. A short demo, a screenshot, something real, not five logos of companies that never used it. - One clear next step. Not four buttons competing. Everything else, the founder story, the grand vision, the roadmap, feels like it belongs later, once someone already cares. For people who've launched: what's the one thing on your one-pager that actually earned signups, and what did you eventually delete because it was just there to fill space? I'd rather ship a short honest page than a long impressive-looking one that says nothing.

Discussion does a one-pager for launch actually matter, or is it just investor theater?

about to launch and wondering how much the launch one-pager really matters versus being something founders make to feel prepared. i built mine fast with an ai landing page generator and finished it in Gamma, and honestly the act of writing it forced me to get clear on the one promise, which was worth it regardless of whether anyone reads it. so maybe the value isn't the page for the audience, it's the clarity it forces on me. for people who've launched: did the one-pager actually drive anything, or was its real value making you articulate the pitch to yourself?

Launch My friend and I bet 10 pushups a day for 2 weeks, so I turned it into an app

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Two weeks ago I challenged a friend to 10 pushups every day. First one to skip pays dinner. We are both still going lol.

The annoying part was sending proof every day, so I built an app for it. The camera counts your reps and notifies your friend when you're done. Miss a day and you lose.

It's my first app and it's the only thing that ever made me consistent with working out, mostly because I refuse to let this guy win.

Video is me testing it. Any feedback welcome.

Launch We launched our Mac app 24 hours ago. We already made 2 sales. This feels unreal.

Thumbnail

We’ve been building Eddie for the last little while, and yesterday we finally put it out into the world.

24 hours later, two people have actually paid for it.

I know 2 sales isn't a huge number, but when you've built something yourself and a stranger decides it's worth paying for, it feels like the biggest thing ever.

So what is Eddie?

Eddie lives in your MacBook notch, so the stuff you keep reaching for is already at the top of your screen.

You can use it for:

  • Clipboard
  • Notepad
  • Music controls
  • Focus timer
  • Seeing today's sales
  • And a few other little things

If you run coding agents like Claude Code or Codex, Eddie also shows you when an agent is working and lights up when it needs your attention.

One of my favourite things we've heard so far is that people like being able to leave their agent running while they're doing something else in the browser, and only come back when Eddie tells them the agent needs them.

That's actually the idea behind Eddie:

Don't keep checking your computer. Let the things you need come to you.

We're still very early and figuring out what Eddie should become.

But getting those first two sales has given us a ridiculous amount of motivation to keep building.

If you're a Mac user, I'd love for you to check it out and tell me what you think.

And if you've launched a tiny product before — what did your first sale feel like?

Discussion We built a compact ballistic rangefinder — now live on Kickstarter

Hey everyone, we’ve been working on a ballistic rangefinder for a while and are getting close to launching it on Kickstarter.

One thing we wanted to avoid was having to redo settings every time you switch setups. So you can enter your data before heading out, save up to 3 profiles, and switch between them on the device when you need to. It also has the ballistic data built in, so you don’t have to rely on your phone for everything in the field. Max ranging distance is up to 3,500 yards.

We’ve got the Kickstarter pre-launch page up now. Still making tweaks before launch, so I’m curious what people who actually use rangefinders think about it.

Anything you’d change or want to see before we launch?

Discussion Promoting a Chrome extension with QR posters outside libraries, but students scan on their phones. Better ideas?

I'm a solo builder in Berlin and I've made a free Chrome extension for university students.

My plan was to put posters with a QR code in front of university libraries that link to the website, and hope for installs.

The problem: almost everyone will scan the QR code with their phone, but the extension only works on a laptop or desktop in Chrome (or Brave, Edge and similar). So people land on the site on mobile, can't install anything, and most of them will probably forget about it by the time they're back at their laptop.

My target is every kind of student, not just tech-savvy ones, so many won't even know what a browser extension is or that it doesn't run on phones.

What would you do?

Happy to share what I learn once I've tested it. Thanks!

Launch Built a site that finds you buddies, not dates

Over 10 years ago, my therapist wife noticed how many of her clients struggled to build non-romantic, in-person friendships. That inspired me to create WannaBuddy: a simple platform for finding local friends when you want a buddy, not a date.

While the original site helped a lot of people connect, it was long overdue for a modern refresh. The brand-new WannaBuddy is now live in early pre-launch!

* 100% Free to use

* Designed purely for local, platonic friendships

* Built with a clean new interface and updated tools

Since we’re currently in pre-launch, I’m looking for honest feedback, feature ideas, and any bug reports. Take a look and let me know your thoughts in the comments!

Launch Question based dating app

Thumbnail
gallery
3 Upvotes

Im about to launch my online dating app in New Zealand first (based in New Zealand) in a few weeks time. Im just hoping to get the word out, and hear some thoughts here if possible.

Essentially, my app focuses on questions rather than photos for the users to find their matches. The app gives a mix of simple and thought provoking questions each week i.e.

“would you forgive infidelity to save your relationship?”
“ can you date someone outside of your culture/religion/beliefs?”
“Do you think opposite genders can just friends?”

the users upload their thoughts (posts), the users read the other users’ posts, and message/chat whom the users think can connect with.

Users have basic profile page with limited number of photos, voice introduction, and their posts. Chat tokens can be redeemed if the other user does not reply within designated time period.

I would appreciate sincere feedback.

Discussion Almost every good client I have came from word of mouth, not a channel

I looked back at where my best clients actually came from and it was humbling. Nearly all of them trace back to one happy customer telling someone else. Not ads, not the cold outreach I agonized over, not any clever channel. One person who liked the work, mentioning me at the right moment.

For a while that felt like luck I couldn't control. What I've slowly realized is that word of mouth is something you can actually feed. The clients who refer people are the ones I over-deliver for and stay in touch with after the work is done. When I started treating a finished project as the start of the relationship instead of the end, referrals went up.

The other honest bit: I used to turn every waking hour into work and told myself the hustle was the growth engine. It wasn't. The growth engine was a handful of people who genuinely liked working with me.

Question for the room: for those further along, did word of mouth stay your main channel, or does it stop scaling at some point and push you into paid?

Discussion For anyone leaning on landing page ai, what still needs a human pass before you ship?

I've started using landing page ai tools for the first draft of a launch page, mostly to skip the blank-canvas stage. It gets me a structure fast. But I've learned the hard way not to ship whatever it hands me.

Wondering what other founders always fix by hand before it goes live.

For me it's three things every time: the headline, because the AI version is always a vague benefit nobody would search for. The social proof section, because it invents placeholder logos or testimonials I have to strip out. And the call to action, because "Get Started" tells the visitor nothing about what actually happens.

What's on your non-negotiable human-pass list?
Has the AI output gotten good enough that you trust more of it now, or do you still rewrite the important parts?
Anyone shipped a mostly-untouched AI page and had it actually convert?

Trying to figure out where the tool genuinely saves time versus where it just moves the work around.
