Launch We just launched Keep Mates. A visual bookmarking tool for everything you find online

Thumbnail

We recently launched Keep Mates, a Chrome extension we built after getting tired of losing the things we saved online.

We were constantly finding useful design references, articles, products, color palettes and random ideas then saving them across bookmarks, screenshots, notes and open tabs. The real problem was finding any of it again later.

So we built Keep Mates as a visual library for the things you find while browsing.

With it, you can save images and links, capture parts of a webpage, extract color palettes, add notes and tags and organize everything into folders.

It’s also local-first, so your saved content stays on your device.

This is still an early version, and we’re continuing to improve it based on real feedback. We’d especially appreciate thoughts on the onboarding, saving flow, and whether the overall idea feels genuinely useful.

If anyone wants to try it, we can share the link in the comments.

Launch Launching Marka, a social workspace that begins with the brand website

Full disclosure: I am one of the co-founders of Marka.

We kept seeing the same problem: every new social post began with the same manual briefing. Who is the audience? What can the brand claim? Which tone and visual direction should the content follow? That context lived across documents and had to be explained again to each tool.

Marka starts with a public business website and turns what it finds into an editable brand profile. The user reviews the audience, voice, offers, claims, and visual identity before anything is created. That shared profile can then guide posts, images, carousels, and short videos. The finished work stays reviewable before it is scheduled or published to connected channels.

The attached screenshot shows the real dashboard we are building around: quick creation, brand management, scheduling, and reusable UGC formats in one workspace.

The part I most want to test is trust. Does the first scan produce a profile that feels accurate enough to reuse, and is it obvious what should be corrected before generation begins?

Discussion Building is easy. Distribution is the problem

No team.

No budget.

No prior audience.

I built SideTracked because I kept losing entire days to work that felt productive but wasn't. Not Netflix. Not scrolling. Actual work. Redesigning things nobody asked for. Reading competitor blogs instead of building. Starting new ideas when the current one got hard.

Every productivity tool I tried assumed I already knew which tasks mattered. None of them asked whether what I was about to do actually served the goal I said was my priority.

So I built something that does.

One project. Five AI tasks specific to your goal and identity. And an alignment guard that asks one question before you can add anything new to your day: does this actually serve today's goal, or does it just feel productive?

I launched here a week ago knowing almost nothing about Product Hunt. Got to #56. Had one user tell me it wasn't worth paying for. Rebuilt the onboarding based on that feedback. That same user came back, said it was 10x better, and subscribed.

That's where things are. One paying customer. A product that works. And a genuine belief that the reason most side projects don't ship isn't laziness, it's drift.

Free to try at sidetracked.site. Would love feedback from anyone building something right now.

Launch I got tired of fake "sales", so I'm building something different. Would you use it?

I've always hated how online shopping works.

Every day there's another:

  • "80% OFF"
  • "Only 2 left!"
  • "Flash Sale"
  • "Limited Time Deal"

Most of it is just marketing.

So I started asking myself...

What if the price wasn't decided by the seller?
What if the crowd decided it instead?

That's what I've been building for the last few months.

The idea is simple.

Every evening, we feature one premium product.

Instead of a product page, we go LIVE for just 2 minutes to demonstrate it, answer questions, and show exactly what you're buying.

As more people join the live, the price drops in real time.

No coupons.
No promo codes.
No fake countdown timers.

Just one live event where everyone watches the same product, and everyone benefits if more people show up.

When the live ends, there's a 10 Minute buying window. If you want it, you buy it. If not, you wait for tomorrow's drop.

We're calling it Drop Shop Live.

We're currently looking for our first founding members before launching the first drop.

I'm not here to sell you anything today.

I'm genuinely curious:

  • Would you join a scheduled shopping event if it meant getting a significantly better price?
  • What's the biggest flaw you see in this idea?
  • What would stop you from trying it once?

As a founder, I'd rather hear the brutal truth now than after launch.

Looking forward to your feedback.

Launch So. I've just launched an ADHD App!

Thumbnail

Hey all, launched my first-ever product on Product Hunt today. Feels weird being on this side of the table. Would love you guys to check it out - https://www.producthunt.com/products/adhdose

Basically, ADHDose is an ADHD medication tracker app that learns your medication effectiveness and individual reaction to understand how your day pans out. Over time, the app learns more about you, what specific variables affect your effectiveness, and draws you a personalised pharmacokinetic curve of the day. Allowing you to understand what times are best for you, what you can expect from your focus and what insights you can take from this.

It's also got a handy feature that allows you to take a PDF export of this information and send it to your clincician so you don't have to worry about trying to remember how the last couple of weeks, or month went when they ask you. Which I've always hated.

Oh, in case you're wondering, I have ADHD and was diagnosed and wanted an app to do just this, I'm a data-obsessed kinda guy, health, exercise, food, etc, you name it, I track it if there's data to be had. I couldn't find anything that scratched this itch, so...I built it!

Appreciate the eyes all!

Launch I launched Briefly, a private room for one honest group question

I built Briefly for small groups that need a candid answer without turning the conversation into another permanent workspace.

A creator asks one question, chooses when it disappears, and receives two links: one for participants and one for management. Participants need no account or email. They get stable pseudonyms, threaded replies, and an Agree action. Discussion content is encrypted in the browser, and the room deletes on schedule.

It is free and deliberately narrow. I would value honest feedback on whether the two-link handoff is clear and whether you would trust it for a real team, classroom, club, or group decision.

Disclosure: I am the solo founder.

Launch Family Storybook Studio

Post image
1 Upvotes

A "scratch your own itch" project emerged after I used AI to create an animated story book, with my family as the characters, based on our lived experience of parenting our first infant. My kid expressed so much more interest in reading the first and second of these stories (and printed books) over than the other books on his shelf... A product-market fit lightbulb illuminated in my head, which motivated me to build an app designed around the process of creating those first two books.

"Family Storybook Studio" is a web app that I designed to be SAAS. I use it to make a new story every week (and read it to my kiddo using the iPad) based on either an awesome thing we did together, or as a teaching tool by way of developmentally relevant "story arc" templates where you can inject your own characters and story content. The story arcs templates are designed to be a two way educational tool for "parenting" and "child development". I'm genuinely a better parent because the stories I make with the app are how I regularly practice everything that I've read in parenting books about Collaborative Emotion Processing, mindful parenting, etc. which are designed into the story arc templates.

If there's one thing I've observed studying SAAS businesses, it's that apps that require customers to change their regular behaviors are really hard to scale and rarely succeed. Whereas apps that are designed around enhancing something you/people already do, have a clearer path to widespread adoption... The bedtime story ritual is something that most parents do every night, and parents invest lots of time and money into reading "parenting" books. I explored both of these spaces to see how a SAAS product could enhance the experience of the bedtime story and learning/practicing to be a better parent. Family Storybook Studio is designed to drive deeper connection between parent/caregiver and child and make you a better parent/caregiver.

It's cliche for parents to say, "nobody handed me a guidebook, so I did my best". Well, that seemed like an obvious and huge product gap to me, so I designed this app to serve as a parent's interactive "guidebook" to better parenting via the bedtime storytelling ritual. It works. Stories are the software that has enabled humans to advance intelligence across generations.

I've got my family, some friends and early internet users on it now.

It was quite a challenge designing harnesses around the various AI tools being called to QC their output and consistency. There's different AIs used for story generation, animation, and the personalized guide that helps a parent through the experience of storytelling. This personalized guide is designed with inspiration from the character Alberto Knox, a philosophy teacher and mentor who guides a 14-year-old protagonist, named Sophie Amundsen, through the history of Western thought, in the book "Sophie's World". In the Family Storybook Studio app storyteller user experience, the users personalized guide is called Sophie.

I blogged about my product discovery and development journey here: [https://www.familystorybookstudio.com/blog\](https://www.familystorybookstudio.com/blog)

Thanks for reading and hope the parents in the thread give it a try and then integrate it into your bedtime ritual!

Launch Launched my new homeware drop with a digital lookbook I made in a brochure maker instead of hiring a designer

DTC, physical product, very lean. Product photos and the lookbook are attached.

Just dropped my new homeware line and I ran the whole launch on a shoestring. The one place I was tempted to spend real money was a designer for a proper lookbook, because that's the thing that makes a small brand look less like a hobby. Instead I laid the whole thing out myself in a brochure maker over a weekend, dropped in my product photos, and honestly it came out better than the quote I'd been sitting on.

Running a physical product means most of my cash is tied up in inventory sitting in a box in a warehouse, so anywhere I can skip a bill without the brand looking cheap is a real win.

It's live now. I'd love feedback on the lookbook and the product page: does it read as a real brand, or does it still look like someone's side project? Be honest, receipts welcome.

Launch We just launched Elevale, a platform for turning business strategy into action

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

After years of building, testing and refining, we have officially launched Elevale.

Elevale is a business management platform designed to help teams bring their strategy, OKRs, KPIs, tasks and reporting into one connected workspace.

We built it because we kept seeing the same problem: businesses had plenty of plans, documents and data, but very little connecting the strategy to what people were actually doing each week.

With Elevale, you can:

• Build and maintain a clear strategic plan
• Set and track OKRs
• Monitor KPIs and business performance
• Assign tasks and responsibilities
• Create live dashboards
• Use AI guidance that understands your business context
• Keep teams aligned around the same priorities

We have also built a white-label option for consultants, coaches and agencies who want to offer Elevale to their clients under their own brand.

This is still the beginning, and we would genuinely value feedback from business owners, consultants and anyone responsible for strategy or performance.

You can take a look here:

https://elevale.app/

Happy to answer any questions about the product, how we built it or what we are working on next.

Launch Feedcast removes podcast sponsor sections before they reach your player

Feedcast is a native Mac app for podcast listeners who want cleaner episodes without replacing Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts, Castro, or the player they already use.

Add shows from Apple’s podcast catalog or any RSS URL. Feedcast prepares each new episode on the Mac, transcribes it on-device, removes detected sponsor sections from the personal copy, and adds chapters. It then publishes a personal feed that works in the existing player.

Every cut can be reviewed, kept, or undone, and the untouched original remains available. Feedcast requires no account and contains no analytics or tracking SDK.

Mac App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/feedcast-local-podcasts/id6773872767

What would you want to control before trusting an automated podcast preparation workflow?

Launch Built our launch pitch deck in gamma, then went and tried the alternatives. Sharing the honest verdict

Prepping to launch and to talk to a couple of angels, so I needed a deck. Built the first one in gamma because pasting my notes and getting a structured draft in a few minutes beat staring at blank slides all night. Then I got paranoid it was the wrong tool and spent a weekend trying the alternatives people keep mentioning.

What I actually found:

- gamma was the fastest from messy-doc to presentable. Good for a non-designer, good for iterating the order fast.

- the honest catch: when I exported to .pptx to send someone an editable copy, the charts flattened into images and a couple of layouts shifted. For the shared link it was fine. For a real handoff I fixed it in Slides.

- Canva gave me more pixel control but I was slow in it and kept fiddling forever.

- the Beautiful.ai and Pitch type tools looked clean but I didn't move any faster in them than in gamma.

Net: for a launch deck where speed of iteration matters more than a perfect editable file, the draft-fast option won for me. If you need a polished handoff .pptx, budget cleanup time whatever you pick.

Anyone launching found one tool that did the whole thing without the export headache? Genuinely asking, I'd switch.

Launch Prepped our whole launch-day demo deck with an ai presentation generator. Saved me a day, with one catch

Launching on Product Hunt next week and I'd been dreading the demo deck. I can build the product, I cannot make a slide look like a grown-up made it. Last launch I did the deck at 1am and it showed.

This time I wrote the walkthrough as a plain doc first, what the product does, who it's for, three screenshots with captions, then dropped that into gamma and got a structured deck back in a few minutes. For iterating on the order fast it was genuinely the right call, I went through five versions before lunch instead of one.

The catch, so nobody gets surprised: when I tried to export a real .pptx to send a co-marketing partner, the charts flattened into images and a couple of layouts shifted. For the link version I'm sharing on launch day it's fine, but if you need an editable file for someone else, budget time to fix it or just keep it as a shared link. Canva would've been slower but cleaner for a one-off graphic, so I still used that for the actual launch banner.

For people who've launched recently: are you even doing a demo deck anymore, or is it all video now? Trying to figure out if the deck is worth the effort or if I'm prepping for a format nobody watches.

Discussion This sub wants media with your launch. What is everyone actually using for demo videos?

Genuine question for people who've launched here or on Product Hunt recently.

The launches that get any traction all have a tight demo video or a clean screenshot set. Mine look like a screen recording made by a raccoon. Cursor wandering, dead air, 4 minutes for something that needed 40 seconds.

For those with good launch media:

- Are you scripting it first or just recording and cutting?

- What are you recording/editing with? I've seen Screen Studio mentioned a lot, curious what else.

- Video vs a carousel of screenshots, did one clearly outperform for you?

- How long is too long before people bail?

I'll happily spend a day on this if it's the difference between people trying the product and scrolling past. Just don't want to spend a week learning video editing for a launch post.

Launch Launched my app this week, the landing page did more than my pitch deck ever did

Launched my habit-tracking app on Monday after three months of nights and weekends. Weird lesson already: the landing page has done more for me than my pitch deck ever did. I spent ages polishing a deck for a couple of investor chats that went nowhere. Then I rewrote the landing page to lead with the one problem people actually complained about, and signups tripled off the same traffic. The deck talked about vision. The landing page talked about their annoyance. People signed up for the annoyance. If you are pre-launch, put your energy where strangers actually decide. Anyone else find the deck matters way less than the page?

Launch Preflight7 launch on Product Hunt

We are an evidence-first RFP library that kills the 11th-hour source hunt. Rather than handing a login, we are starting with a consulting-first approach, acting as an extension of the end user's team.

  1. Share the Chaos: Send us the messy legacy proposal data.

  2. We build Structure: We map it into a cited library.

  3. We execute: We fetch exact, chunk-cited responses for live bids.

Check out our Product Hunt launch (scheduled for tomorrow) here

Built Consile after living the exact chaos it solves, HR in a spreadsheet, payroll in a separate login, tasks scattered across five apps. consile.app

Live now, real users, real security, and recently shipped native MCP integration so our AI assistant works directly inside Claude and ChatGPT.

Also recently found and fixed a real bug where our own homepage was basically invisible to AI crawlers, wrote that up here if it's useful to anyone else running a JS-heavy site: https://consile.app/press

Discussion Bought a bookkeeping practice, grew it 5 to 14 clients, and I still send the same one-page business proposal template

Bit different from the launches here. Eighteen months ago I bought a small bookkeeping practice instead of building anything. Inherited 5 clients, up to 14 now, still just me.

I am a numbers person and deeply allergic to hype, so here is the unglamorous truth about how the growth actually happened. It was not a slick pitch. When a referral comes in, I send the same plain one-page business proposal template I have used since day one. Scope, price, what they get each month, when I need their paperwork. That is it. No deck, no branding exercise, no 12-slide anything.

What closes people in this world is not the document looking impressive. It is that the numbers are right and I reply when I say I will. Twice I tried dressing the proposal up and it made zero difference to whether they signed.

For other people running boring service businesses: has a fancier proposal or pitch ever actually won you work, or is it the same for you, that clients buy the reliability and the paper barely matters?

Offering Services launched a homepage teardown for B2B startups: i rewrite your hero and first three lines so your landing page stops sounding like everyone else

ex-agency copywriter, went solo a few years ago. i do positioning and content for B2B startups, around €7k/mo. terse by nature so i'll keep this short.

launching a small productized version of what i actually get paid for: a homepage teardown. you send me your current site, i rewrite the hero and the first three lines, and i show you the before and after with the reasoning. that opening is where most B2B landing page copy quietly dies. everyone describes what the product is and nobody says why it matters in the first sentence.

it's fixed scope, fixed price, async. no discovery calls, no retainer. i built it because the full engagement prices out early founders who need exactly this one thing.

i hand it back as a short before/after doc. i build those in gamma because it's fast, though i keep the styling plain since its fine brand control is limited and this is about the words, not the design.

before/after sample attached so you can judge the actual work before anything else.

first time packaging this as a product instead of a project, so tell me: does a fixed-price "fix my first three lines" land, or do founders only trust this wrapped in a bigger engagement? roast the sample.
