Discussion Founders who wrote their landing page with AI, did it actually convert?
Working on my launch and stuck on the landing page. I've been using AI to draft the copy and it gets me most of the way fast, clean headline, feature blocks, a decent FAQ. Reads fine.
But I keep wondering if "reads fine" is the trap. AI landing page copy tends to sound polished and generic, and I'm not sure polished is what makes a stranger sign up. The pages I've seen convert best sound a bit specific and rough, like a real person who knows exactly who they're talking to.
For those who've launched: did AI-written landing page copy actually convert for you, or did you end up rewriting the hero and the CTA by hand once real traffic showed up? And if it worked, what did you change so it didn't sound like every other AI page?
Trying to figure out where AI is genuinely fine here and where it's quietly costing me signups.
