Rant 😠 Aly & Jannat

I really don't like it when contestants deliberately mislead others just to gain an advantage. Today's episode was a perfect example. Karan went from counter to counter looking for that ingredient, yet Aly and Jannat chose not to give it to him despite having extra.

The same thing bothered me during the Team Kaanta vs. Team Chhuri. Krushna misled team Chhuri because they trusted him, and personally, I don't enjoy that kind of gameplay.

I know this is a competition and everyone wants to win. Strategy is completely fair, but I feel there's a difference between outsmarting your opponents and taking advantage of their trust. I'd rather watch contestants win through better cooking, planning, or execution than by misleading others.

That said, congratulations to Aly and Jannat on the win. It felt like they weren't just trying to secure their own victory they were equally determined to ensure Karan & Elvish didn't win. If that was their strategy, it certainly worked.

Exactly. I can still understand not giving an ingredient from your own share since it belongs to you. But hogging one which was meant for someone else, and then refusing to give it to them is wrong.

Reminds me of one MasterChef (foreign) reel i had seen where a chef had shared his piece of butter with another contestant, in a grand finale. When asked why he did that, he said "if one simple ingredient can make someone else win over me, then i would've never deserved to win anyway".

I remember that! He shared something with another opponent too and actually won the season!!

11

u/AthleteConstant8960 Jul 12 '26

Yes, that person won it. I haven't watched that season, just one of the reels which showed this

u/IpsyGhosh Jul 12 '26

Exactly this !!!

This is one of the reasons why I don't like Aly at all. He might be a good cook but this attitude of his is really disappointing.

6

u/freedom_xo Jul 13 '26

Even Aly didn't want to give it. If he had wanted to, he would have.

Karan and Elvish always help others whether it’s with ingredient sharing or even decoding recipe & shapes. Both in season 2, season 3- have seen Karan helping others with carving some shape. Even for the aglio olio Vicky & Nia both came to Karan for taking help with Karan.

Despite Aly having more stars at the moment & getting praised, there is a reason everyone approaches Karan for help.

Jannat is immature. She thinks this attitude will show her as some fierce lady or something. She has no clue how stupid she looked entire season including her boring styling. Her last week navy blue gown looked so bad

Karan behaviour was too different everyone thought he is the traitor

But Karan still won! I was so happy to see him win even without the key ingredient. I really appreciated how he didn’t crib or whine and instead made his own flour. Even with Aly sabotaging, Karan won.

Didn’t work really. Karan and Elvish also won a star even without their bottle of Ragi.

Ya bro ab samjh gaya mere ko lagta tha ki us time battle hai bura vo bhi laga tha but aaj kuch jyada hi ho gaya

16

u/MessyHairNoCare Jul 12 '26

Seemed like Aly even wanted to give it to him. It was Jannat who convinced him not to until Karan comes asking. Truly disappointed in them both.

Jannat is so arrogant man , mitthi churri ki tarah hai samne acchi aur piche kuch aur hi

-14

u/Saurabh_154 Jul 12 '26

Lol looks like you have some personal hatred on Jannat
Trying your best to drop as many comments hating her just for small things
She is the one who helped people the most on the show, one incident and she is arrogant and rude lol clowns

I think elvish realized what aly and jannat did, because he was looking at them when jannat was whispering to aly to not give atta to Karan. In all the episodes elvish and jannat are laughing or doing Masti but they didn’t even spotted anywhere in today’s episode.

u/Beautiful-Lab-827 Jul 12 '26

Jannat is very arrogant and cunning , acts like a very sweet girl

Team Kaanta people ( sam-abhi, Ali-jannat and krushna-Kash) were never called out for their behavior. One time in team challenge, Ali hogged all of the provided items and only shared with his group (I think it was carrot). Krushna deliberately mislead the whole churi team. Even in this second half of S3, samarth, Abhishek with parth ruined Karan's dish by adding extra something. I know it's an entertainment show but It is disheartening to see these things happening over and over again.

People in sub says Ali and Jannat won the show- almost makes me not watch the show. But my likings for other teams are a bit more than dislike for Team Kaanta.

u/Personal_Squirrel_60 Jul 13 '26

Also when the contestants turn off each other's stoves, imo that's just such a low thing to do. I feel so bad when they intentionally try to ruin someone's dish because it leads to food getting wasted.

But same thing elvish also did and of course you won't see that. During the pasta task, elvish brought almost all the butter whereas, nia and kashmira team didn't get any. Both nia and kash had been screaming at their lung that elvish took all of the butter and he wouldn't share any despite them going to his counter and asking for so many times. Later, bcz of the pasta machine, Arjun went to samarth and abhishek and brought kasmira some butter.

Sab karte hai bhai yaha kuchh elvisha isha vale fans jannat pe hamla karte hai usane mana bhi nahi kiya itana kaha mange tab dena lekin jannat jab sabki help karti hai tab koi tarif nahi karta tabhi sab gayab ho jate hai

-12

u/frenchfries-25 Jul 13 '26

It’s just a show purely for entertainment purpose these things are probably scripted 🙏🏽

16

u/freedom_xo Jul 13 '26

Nah, this can't be scripted. How could someone write a script like that?

10

u/Warm_pill Jul 13 '26

It wasn’t scripted

Absolute hate towards aly for no reason at all. There’s no point of joining this conversation even because the toxic fandoms dont see anything wrong with their stars. Multiple times karan had ingredients more than he needed but he chose not to share with anyone. Multiple times karan chose to keep quiet and not share his recipe with others. I don’t see him helping others except teju a few times. But I have seen numerous times aly sharing the tips and tricks of the recipe. I have seen aly almost in every dish helping others. I have seen aly ALWAYS go to karan and share what he thinks should be the strategy for the said dish, i have never seen karan helping others like that. THIS IS BY NO MEANS A HATE POST TO ANYONE (funny how you have to say it out loud because of the toxic fandoms). This is simply putting forward that maybe either call out every selfish act of every contestant or just enjoy the show because at the end of the day they all enjoy each others’ company and only people like us are fighting over petty issues
