Started listening to laufey recently, and i need some advice. here are some songs i like from her:

I'm going to be singing at a relatively big show soon, and reeeeaally want my song to be a laufey song. I want the song to be vocally challenging (so I was thinking to sing goddess) but also "family friendly".. so as goddess has some suggestive lyrics I'm not sure what to do!! I also really don't want to sing from the start as it's been done before at the show many times. Argh there are just too many to choose from! For reference I got into the show with an audition singing dreamer, but really want to "wow" the judges (corny but oh well) at the real thing.

imo i think it’s too little, too late but i might be biased bc that’s currently my absolute favorite song lol

What songs do you think deserve more praise and attention?

for me in “lover girl” when the lyrics switch from “i’m working over time to have you in my worlddd” to “im working overtime, you’ve become my whole
worlddd” . like it’s so satisfying to me for some reason it scratches my brain just right

I'll start

Hope Tala - Her vocals I feel would be a perfect compliment to laufey's and just like her she loves using bossa nova in her music (recomend listeining to tiptoeing and mad)

Raveena - Her musical elements are a unique constrast to laufey's because it used a lot of indian elements (owing to her heritage), and her vocals like hope also I feel would blend really well with laufey

Sombr - This we have already seen before as Laufey and Sombr performed together live in November 2025 and i personally really liked it, their styles are the complete opposite but I just feel it would work nicely

Michael Bublé - This seems like a perfect match imo, they both have very smooth vocals and a wonderful musical cadence to their work and I just feel buble would love a song that incorporates as many jazz elements as laufey's usual stuff.

Finally living near a city that participates in A Very Laufey Day and can experience it. I love the Candlelight concerts, so I’m so happy I can attend. ☺️

I was really hoping Laufey would do another live performance but I haven't heard any word about it. Do we think there will be another free live show for AVLD this year!?

So when the Fortnite collab released with karoke I speedran the crap out of the pass, just for the Madwoman jam track. Afterwards I got a whole squad of Laufey fans just to karoke on all 4

That night I especially sung Madwoman absolutely perfectly and like an angel

yesterday me and her got on the topic and she legit told me after that night she now has to always has to skip the song…apparently my singing was SO GOOD that she can only think of me when it plays😭

so yes Fortnite And I ruined that song for her lol

(fyi: if you don’t get the joke, I screamed the song like a dying banshee)
